Keep an eye on Sears, too, in the next week or two... they should have 40-50% off clearance with your Sears card going on in the next bit... I always get some great deals there, and there are often some amazing deals on girls' clothes. Keep an eye out for shoes/sneakers/boots/sandals for her as well... even snowsuits and spring/fall jackets
Gymboree.com will likely have some great deals coming up, too.... with coupons or Gymbucks, I've often bought shorts and t-shirts for $3.50 each in July. I have it shipped to a parcel pickup place near the border to save on shipping and duty. The quality of Gymboree stuff is really good.

Are there any Gymboree stores or outlet centres in the GTA? I loooooove the quality of their stuff. I actually became an online member last month but for some reason my account has not yet been activated so I sent an email for a resolution .
Old Navy has a sale going on. I'll watch out for Sears & Gymboree for sure.

There must be a number of Gymboree locations in Toronto. There are 2 in Winnipeg. Going to the stores can be hit-or-miss, as prices in Canadian stores are often higher. I've only had great luck when they've had 30% off everything plus 25% off clearance. Prices are lower and often the markdowns happen faster online. There are sometimes coupons out in magazines for 20% off. If you have your order shipped to Canada, you pay higher shipping and duty and taxes, but you can avoid all that if you ship to a parcel pickup place and pick up the items during your US vacation.
A good sale to go to in stores is the everything $12.99 and under sale. They have new, in-season items for that price. It's really good if you're buying something expensive, like a dress, jeans, or a winter jacket, and you're needing to shop for that season's wear.
Big Red balloon sales have good prices, but they often have smaller sizes and the clothing is normally that of the opposite season.
