Hope he is feeling better Peachy, scared me sensless when I thought he was chocking while was driving on the highway. I pulled over and into the old driive in place only to find I had no tissues...so, I still had Joe's shirt in the back seat from the lake which did a farly good job . Seriously, I thought I was gonna woof my cookies to LOL...been a very long time since I have had to deal with little people pukies.
Thank the lord I didn't give him that happyy meal I bought while we were driving .

BTW Jr was home when we arrived and he was so concerned about Kayden that he sent me out to go buy bottled water cause he didn't think tap water would be a good idea. I was trying to tell him maybe we shouldn't give him anything for a bit but he wouldn't relent and sent me off to CO-OP for miracle bottled water LOL. Then all he could say is MOM, he is so pale, mom he's probably dehydrated..... Good grief who knew my young boy could actually be so sensible

Hi Sassy!! So glad you don't have that movie! I was trying to find an age appropriate movie that wasn't current and prayed that you didn't already have it. It was Melissa who chose that movie actually. Glad you like it! YAYY!! As for the thought and effort, yes I wanted to make sure you were absolutely spoiled because I really loved your wish list. I wanted to get you absolutely everything on it...LOL!! I hope the body wash didn't leak.

Day 5, my incredibly fantastic super duper awesome ridiculously sweet buddy Bluz gave me a box of 12, yes twelve, that's TWELVE peanut butter crunch original Clif energy bars. I love these!

I love my buddy too, thanks so much! Now to figure out how to ration them...

OK, off to tidy up and do a quick vacuum. My BFF will be here in a couple hours for the meatball and sauce marathon, and of course, my cat has shed just about every hair on her body it seems, twice! She's just a normal short hair cat, but I'm tempted to give her a haircut like K8's little guys...

Check in later ladies, have a great morning!

We got some great gifts today, a whole bunch of post its for me, I love the small kind for putting in my cookbooks to mark things I really like or want to try. Jackson got a magetic calendar that sticks to the fridge! He's very excited but asked me to help put the numbers on and wants to know why there are so many days in the month (he knows we are going to my parent's at the beginning of August lol). He also got a Thomas DVD! We don't have any of those yet so that's very good, I am sure we'll enjoy it this evening.

MMMMmmmmm curly whirly and knitting needles I am tempted to try talk the kids into staying home so I knit, instead of heading to the Telus World of Science to see the body works exhibit think they might go for it?......
LOL Does school start soon? I could use a break already, trying to keep 3 kids occupied this summer is keeping me very busy.

I have to rant just a little bit though today, for the last month I have finally been able to up my exercise program, to 30-40 cardio and 30 mins of strength every morning, which I wasn't able to do because I would end up with severe edema swelling in my joints. I eat clean and my calorie count is under 1300 yet I have gained 38 pounds, while dealing with whatever my body is doing and fighting with chronic hives.
My doctor has no clue what to do other then give me more immunity suppressing drugs and told me to eat less...... How exactly am I supposed to eat less when I am already on a starvation diet, and workout harder then I ever have. 1 yr ago, if I did this I would be a stick and eating without counting calories. Why can't doctors just listen???? I showed him my daily food log and excerise program along with all the supplements and you know what he has the balls to tell me???
" well just because you write it down doesn't mean you do it, quit eating and exercise more, that will solve your problem"

I just wanted to cry as I sat in his office yesterday, now I am completely pissed. I know that I watch my diet better then 80% of the population, and understand nutrition better then most. Who should know my body and what is normal better then me? I keep telling him that the drugs he has me on are not working and causing more issues and he doesnt care or listen, it is easier to blame me, then admit he doesnt have a clue what to do or to try something else. I am so pissed and stressed over this that I broke out in hives again last night, inspite of the drugs that I am on to keep control over them.

Ok I feel better now that I got that off my chest Thank you ladies for listening to my rant.

To relieve some of my stress yesterday, I went and worked in the garage and fed my creative side and this is what I made I am pretty proud of myself that it turned out so good....

Oh my!!!!! I took the kids to the Telus World Of Science Center to see an IMAX movie and the Body World exhibit. Now please understand that my children have both had the full body talk and are farm kids so they understand some of life's more unpleasant and embarrassing things. So I thought it would be an interesting and educational outing, well wasn't I surprised when I ended up with more unsettled feelings then they did about viewing real people's plasticized body's.

I don't regret going or even taking my kids but I am not sure that I would be ok with going again. I felt like I just violated these people by looking at their bodies, and found it interesting. I found myself always looking them in the eye and apologizing to them in my head. The girls on the other hand, found it all interesting and thought that it was an awesome time.

I had to laugh at my youngest though

DD- Mom, what is that thing? ( pointing)
Me- Do you remember the talk we had about how you need boys and girls to make babies?
DD- (rolling eyes and snorts) well geez you could have just said it was a penis

Well the young fellow ( early 20s) behind her just about choked when her heard her say that, then he says to me,

" really?? We are in public, how can you let her say that?"

Which I snorted and replied " she is a farm kid, she knows about the birds and the bees, and yes WE are all in public....... Looking at other people's dead and dismembered bodies."

I am pretty sure he went home shaking his head at the rednecks he met in town.

So I just got back from emerge.

Babysitting dbf's nephew today and he fell in the garage and cuts his chin. It's smaller than an inch, but really deep! I know it was an accident, but I feel so bad!! He's fine, and is just upset that he was going home and not sleeping over at our place. Poor lil guy

    Anywho...

I got a homemade gift from chesterjes today! I'm not sure if its relish or chutney, or something else, but it looks yummy!! Thanks chesterjes! I love trying new things
