STACKING question...

I have a stacking question...so Walmart gives overage, so HERE in Ontario if I have a $2 coupon for a $1 product, they give me $1. THERE (BC), lets say you have 3 diff coupons, for like $2 each...making a $6 stack, right? Can you use that on that $1product and get FIVE dollars overgae??? OR will your walmart only accept the ONE overage coupon?

Stacking is not available at Walmart anywhere. It's only possible at pricemart, SOF and London drugs. SOF allows slight overages up to about 5% so it your product cost is $5.99 and you have $6 stack you'd get a penny.

Target also allows 1 MFG coupon and 1 Target coupon

It used to be way more stressful because regularly you'd get shut down at the till....there was no clear policy and each store was different. Now it's mostly FUN! And adding a few coupons shouldn't stress out most people's math skills...teehee. I only get stressed out when I get to the store and the price is different and I have to redo my stacks or if something is unexpectedly on sale that wasn't in th flyer. I'm pretty organized because the store is 30 minutes away and I have to make it worth the trip (luckily its near the ocean so I'm using the kids for an excuse to go there!).

london drugs only pricematches 1 of the product, but my pricesmart is right beside it, that being said i usually fine unadvertised deals in london drugs that work out.

my pricesmart is unsure about if they stack P&G and other word restrictive coupons
my save-on-foods customer service has said "we are supposed to accept all coupon stacks"
but ive been "shut down" on some coupons , that would of worked if i handed them over in a different order.(using "buy 2 save $" before using the BOGO coupon, they didnt count the "free" item as buying 2 when i used the BOGO first........still mulling over this )

does anyone know if you can stack at the pharmaprix in Hawkesbury, Ontario ? I ask this because pharmaprix is the same as london drugs or shoppers?

Pharmaprix is not the same as London Drugs which is a Western Canadian company. Shoppers does not allow stacking even in the West.

Not long because I build my stacks in separate coupon bag that has categiry dividers in it. So stacks that are complete are in the bag, paper clipped ready to go pretty much all the time. I use a train case style make up bag that i bought for $2 at the thrift store. Key is to file couoons as you get them. My stack case goes in the cart beside my glow girl coupon bag and everything is at my fingertips

I keep separate boxes (I store coupons in shoe boxes with dividers!) for stacking and non-stacking. For stacking, I also keep a running list of how many of each coupon I have and what the possible stack total can be....then I just wait for a sale! I usually order before I go (again, because it's sooo far away!) because I get as many as I can....my theory is that it doesn't get any cheaper then free and if I can't use it I sure as heck can donate it!

In the past 3 weeks, I've gone 3 times....each bill total before coupons was between $250-300 (keeping in mind some of their products are overprice IMO but who cares if they are free!). I paid nothing on the first, about $4.30 on the second and a whopping $14.26 (lots of tax...grrrrrr) on the last.

Is it worthwhile...HELL YA! but I really do enjoy the challenge of finding the coupons...organizing them...and pouncing on the deals!

PS. I give full credit and kudos to Couponandoff for starting my stacking addiction...she's the Queen of Stacking and I'm always amazed at her awesomness (check out our Fantastack thread sometime...she's the brain behind it...I'm just along for the ride and to look pretty!)

Oh ... Hmmm ok I guess I should try to put all my coupons into stacks that can be stacked...

But hat do u mean coupons that can be stacked and coupons that cannot?

U mean the " one coupon per purchase" sort of thing? I've stacked the infamous p&g that has that sort of wording before..
So I'm just curious

Ahhh...sorry...by "non-stacking" I don't mean wording, I just mean coupons I don't intend to stack. For instance...if there was only one coupon for that product or if it was a product I wouldn't want (but I probably wouldn't have coupons for them anyway..haha).

My stacking box are products that have a higher likelyhood of being able to stack for free (or really really really cheap). If a new item comes out multiple coupons and I have a single coupon in my "non-stacking box" I just move it when it becomes more realistic.

Keeping your stacking stuff separate and added up (for total stack $ value) lets you be on the ball when things go on sale...you don't want to be fooling around with trying to figure out if you have enough coupons or the right coupons once the sale hits...gotta be prepared like a good Girl Scout!

I like coupons with longer expiries for just that reason...I'm only interested in Dec 2013 or longer expiries right now to give me more possible chances of a sale.

If you can stack regularly priced items to full value then I just grab them every time I go to SOF.
