Where have you travelled ?
Which was your favourite and why ? Which was your least favourite and why ? Where would you never return ?
Do you travel with your kids or no ?
Tell us all about them (please
)

For me :
I have been to Disney (at age 8), Switzerland (15), Cuba (16,18,23), Paris(19,23) Dominican Republic (21).
I love to travel
My all time favourite was Paris (went for 7 weeks total) , I would go there every year, I would live there.. I love their way of life, the food, the "ambiance". The plane ride, the people, the macarons, the Champs Élysées. EVERYTHING. I went there twice.. twice I was alone and I'm dying to take someone with me and show them all it has to offer and why i love it sooo much because NO ONE in my entourage has been and no one understands why it's my favourite place in the world..
Switzerland was awesome too, however I was with my mother staying at my family friend's place.. I was bored and we stayed over 3 weeks and for some reason got so so so incredibly home sick I actually spent the last 4-5 days in bed.. strange... I wish I could go back and be able to appreciate all of it because thinking back it was really awesome !!!
third favourite was cuba this winter with DF and DD.. it was SOOO amazing to see how much she loved it.. I shop my trips ALOT .. do a TON of research (ever since i started traveling alone.. ) and it was magical. Can't wait to take her back in oct/nov before the baby comes..
There's no where I would never go back but everywhere I dream of going
Spain, greece (where I come from), england .. Thailand.. every where .. and I want to take DD with me everywhere.. My parents travelled a lot more without me than with me and I thought it was a shame.. So so so enriching for a child to travel I can't imagine leaving DD behind, especially now that I saw how much she loved her first trip ...

LOVE to travel!
I lived in Australia for a year. Went for teachers college and learned so much more!
I did everything I could while I was there - the sky was the limit (well I already did skydiving so I didn't do that there). But went scuba diving and snorkling in the Great Barrier Reef. Hiked up HUGE mountains. Learned to drive on the opposite side of the road, on the other side of the car. Went surfing - did a weekend camp and rented boards. Went to Fraser Island, Whale Watching, camped, saw a show at the Sydney Opera House, Toured stadiums, went to Steve Irwin's Zoo. Had many travels in Oz to Melbourne, Manley, Sydney, Carins, 1770, etc. Went to New Zealand and did bungee jumping, traveled the south island by car (driving again on the wrong side, through narrow lanes inside and outside of mountains).
It was an incredible adventure!Last edited by acosta; Tue, Sep 3rd, 2013 at 10:52 AM.

Almost every province and state. For whatever reason, my most fond trips are 3 weeks driving the back roads of Saskatchewan in July 2006 in, and cruising rural Texas for 2 weeks in 2001.
And there is Banff, so glorious, I moved there. Can't get enough of Banff and area.

In 2006 I did Tokyo, Japan
Also Egypt where we did a Nile cruise, balloon flight over the Valley of the kings. I was also the first tourist to see King tut's mummy after it was removed from its sarcophagus.
After Egypt, we went to Jordan, more precisely Petra.
2008 we did France (Paris and Normandy to do the D-Day tour)
Italy (only Rome, Dh and I won free tickets)
Peru (Machu Picchu, Nasza lines, Cusco)
Bolivia (Salar de Uyuni, AMAZING PLACE!)
Las Vegas for xmas-New year. DH and I did skydiving on Dec 31.
in 2011, DH, DS and I went to Hong Kong and Singapore. Really enjoyed the food. 15 hrs direct flight Toronto to HK with DS on my lap was a nightmare!
In April this year, we went to Seoul, and went near the border to North Korea. I did not enjoy the trip that much because DS was so cranky all the time and did not like the food, so we have to find alternatives for him at very short notice!
Then after Seoul, we visited Vancouver and Calgary (Banff, Lake Louise)
While I was at University, I went to China for a field trip and visited a Tibetan Monastery close to the border. I received a white silk scarf from the Lama who lives there)
I also stayed 1 week in a Malaysian forest for an architectural project. I encountered a python. Scariest day of my life. We also went on a night boat trip along a river to see fireflies. A guy had a crush on me and captured a few in a jar for me LOL. So sweet!
I visited Scotland (loch ness) and Wales while I was living in London, UK.
For our honeymoon we went to Mauritius. 1 week of just relaxing on the beach.
My favourites are definitely Egypt, Peru and Bolivia. I'm glad that we already visited Egypt because we definitely wouldn't go after all these conflicts there.
My least favourite was Rome. We found that it was just too crowded.
I had a lot of fun taking photos of all these places

Lets see:
All the provinces of Canada except Saskachewan. Maybe one day.
In the US: California, Washington State, Nevada, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, New York, Florida.
Europe: England, Belgium, The Netherlands, Austria.
Island Destinations: Mexico, Jamaica, The Bahamas (Nassau).
(I might be missing a few, I don't remember honestly
)
Of those locations, if I had to choose another place to live... definitely Vienna. I spent a week there, spent most of the time wondering around by myself before and after a work conference. It just felt so comfortable.

My father travels teh world, the is all he does now. I've begun to be interested, where as I wasn't before. When my 'contract' ends, I have been considering take 1-3 years off to enjoy myself a bit, but I'd miss my cats so much.
