I think that is part of their plan

So glad I got on a few months ago.

BMO has really been sucking this year. NOV 2012 they had a Spend $XXX Get 500 miles, this nov nothing
Also last year BMO had the Bonus airmiles for meeting with a financial advisor this year nothing.
I am making an effort to use my AMEX instead of the BMO Mastercard.

I got an offer this month, spend $1000 get 500. It was recd on the 25th of November but the promo details say spend X between Nov 1 and Nov 30...

I also recd a call from Amex to sign up, I refused at the time so I could think about it some more.

There are $3 coupons from either a Smart Source or Red Plum Insert (can't remember which)I stacked at SOF about 2 months ago and half the Clear had peelies on which I didn't use at the time of purchase. That being said I have seen the peelies around at various stores, but they're getting scarce (SDM, SW,SOF, & Target) There is also a $2 TP around, not as good a deal but still not bad. I find the Clear products are awesome. Also Colgate Pro Relief toothpaste has a $2 SS, $1 MF on Bran and same for Rice Krispies (B5G100 Kellogg's deal)

I received an email from BMO MasterCard and they credited me 500 AM for being a "loyal customer" and I would receive another 500 AM if I spent $1000 by the end of the month. The first 500AM are already in my account, but oddly enough, I cancelled my Gold MC and started using the Westjet MC through RBC. I can't rely solely on air miles for my flights. It's just too difficult to book four tickets to Mexico or Hawaii and the taxes to Europe are stupid with AM.

I got no email. I guess they don't value my business or consider me loyal.
My guess is I was spending way too much every month so they took my business for granted, I'll give it to AMEX for now.
I agree the taxes for overseas trips are pretty insane.

I noticed the CO51 new deals include a few for Kelloggs cereals and one for Clear Scalp and Hair Therapy (not sure if that's the same as whats on sale...havent checked out the flyer yet).

Last year was the big push to get people addicted to buying through Airmiles Shops. My guess is nothing short of another recession will get a 25Xs again.

Also, I saw a post about spend $50 on Amex get 50 AMs... do I need to sign up for it?? or is it automatic....I can't seem to find the details. And when does it expire?
