Thread: Waching TV shows online
-
Tue, Jan 8th, 2013, 12:04 AM #1
I want to catch up on Person of Interest episodes from Season 1. CityTV is showing season 2 now but they only have last week's video posted on their website. Can anyone suggest where I can watch the episodes online, with the least risk for viruses and won't use too much of my bandwidth? Thanks!

If it's older episodes you are looking for, the only real legit way to watch them would be to buy them on DVD.
Netflix MIGHT have them, but without a membership you can't really check.Last edited by bhlombardy; Tue, Jan 8th, 2013 at 02:05 AM.

I watch my shows on Project Free TV. They have the show you're looking for.

I use project-free-tv as well, just make sure you have an ad blocker in place! It sometimes takes a few minutes for the show to buffer.

as for cutting bandwidth:
if you are using firefox (not sure exactly how well it works
in other browsers), i have found since using adblock
my usage has gone way down.granted you have to disable
it every so often, but is worth it. (FREE)
for instance, and i don't watch much online, i have gone from
almost going over the 'limit' (80 gb) to now being at
2.8 gb since dec 4. (yikes they now owe me)
was amazing how fast the extra usage and eye sight improved.
good luck anicas, is a great series

You can also try www.iwannadownload.com They are more focused on movies but they have all the latest way before Netflix. I've been a member for years and love them.

torrents
if you stream the shows, the streaming database website you use may be well known, but the links actually lead to other sites hosting the video, and that websites can give you viruses, and do . i got some before, now i only torrent.
and before the "but thats illegal" , lets put it this way, i already pay for the channels that play the shows, i just dont want to be forced to sit down and watch them when they play the new episodes.Last edited by mcon; Tue, Jan 7th, 2014 at 01:26 AM.

Umm, just a word of caution... as an IT professional, I can assure you that you are far more likely to get a virus from torrents than you are from streaming from legitimate sources (like the network itself, or Netflix).
It's not the streaming of the video itself that gets you, it's more likely the underlying plugins you are either unaware of, or are forced to (or tricked into) installing. (and the previous sites listed so far are not reliable sources)
I'm not saying all torrents are laced with viruses or malware -- but I wouldnt recommend them as a safe and reliable source.

As an alternative...I got the entire series at my Public Library.
