I was just talking about this today. I always wrap the stocking stuffers too. I do one for my Mom and she does one for me but hates doing them. She asked me today if they needed wrapping and I was like YEAH!!! Lol. Its my favorite part too.

We wrapped stocking stuffers (except for the oranges!) my mom told me that she isn't doing stockings this year for us that's my favourite part.

I tried to get DH to do stockings....I didn't win lol I guess if I want a stocking I'm going to have to make it myself! Gah!

Day 16:
My buddy sent to me...dryer sheets and elastics (I am hiding these cause DH and DD keep stealing mine lol)

Ugh, okay so I have a question for everyone... When it comes to Christmas presents, what are you more conscious of... Budget or quantity. Today I had an annoying conversation with two I my friends and I feel like they kind of jumped down my throat a bit on this one.

I spent a lot of time deal hunting for DS's gifts, between black friday, shop.ca, wagjag, coupons and my walmart mix up I was able to get a good $400 in toys for around $160. I had lunch with them and we were all on the topic of what gifts we bought for or kids. I explained to them about deals and what I spent and clearly it went thru one ear and out the other. some comments I got were "well if you keep spending money like that you'll never leave your moms house", "your son is going to expect that every year", "Christmas isn't about how much money you spend, you're going to teach Keeland that its all about getting". I heard all bout how they only buy their kids two presents, an outfit and stocking stuffers. Kind of felt like a slap in the face. We all spent around the same amount so really what does it matter about quantity?!?

I really don't know what to think, but I'm pretty hurt over this. I an not able to buy him toys e hasn't gotten anything since his birthday in march and everything is outdated and he has lost interest. I worked hard to get these new things. We dot have cable so he doesn't sit around all night watching TV, he plays!

That's really why I am asking you guys, I want some reassurance that I'm not a terrible mom who is turning her child into a spoiled brat.

I hope none of you think you are terrible moms. Really. I'm not a mom myself but the love I see with all you moms out there is amazing. I hope that one day when I am a mom, that I will be able to be half as good of a mom as all of you all are!! Really.

Had my appointment with the surgeon today and found out I need two operations! Well that is great! Oh well.....

Anyway, onto happier things: Day 16 for me was some very much needed Sensodyne! Thank you so very much! I was on my last tube!

My ex used to do stockings and I found that a lot of fun. I'm not going to be doing it this year but I think maybe I will consider next year making a stocking for myself. we'll see. but it would be super fun to have a stocking full of wrapped gifts!!!

Day 17 brought Trent a bag of Skittles, he took them and ran up the hall clutching them in his arms chanting something LOL I managed to get them back for a quick photo but they are now safely tucked away in his school bag. Sugar for breakfast, good luck teachers!!

Donnie got a really cool brain teaser puzzle. He LOVES these things and has quite the collection. He can't wait to try it out. It came at a perfect time for him too, work has been super stressful and these things help him calm down and refocus. They just make me want to find the bolt cutters! Brr!!! It's so cold out there. I'm used to this in February, not December! I'm a little worried what the rest of winter will bring.

Today I got some socks! I love getting socks for Christmas, I don't know why Jackson got a hot wheels car and some apple sauce, he had two of them this morning for breakfast, so they won't last long! He loves that stuff and mean mommy normally only buys the ones in the cups not the good ones

I don't wrap them, Santa doesn't wrap at my house. It gives the adults a few minutes to get coffee before we start opening gifts, while the little guy is so excited to play with whatever he got from Santa.

I hope the clothes fit...I couldnt go by the sizes because they didnt look right to me

Everything is perfect, the red pants might be a little big, we'll wash them and see. But he's in the middle of a growth spurt, every time I look at him he's taller. He can reach the light switches without a step stool now, and with the step stool he can reach the treat shelf... so is happy to help himself to all the candy I try to ration out a bit. Not sure where to put it all next!

We wrap stockings but it is a fun wrap with no tape or anything....hate to say it but Santa wasn't believed in very early on in my kids days so no trying to make everything look different
