Just got back from a X-mas party - lots of good eats!!!
Actually Wolfie didn`t go to last years Q breakie - I was there though! no luck this year however. I think I`ve gone to about 3 of them. Good luck winning something Karl! have a good time! I was wondering how I`d manage this party and then getting up so early tomorrow for the Q breakie but guess (unfortunately) I don`t have to worry about that!

My Mission was a Complete Success...
The Sitter's Husband Loaned me their Car Seat, so I was able to Collect the Little Tike Properly.
Could not/would not without the Seat.
Then, it was off to Collect His Mom from Her Mechanic's Garage, Where She had Her Car towed.
All were a Little Extra Tired, but Content.
We Live in the same Building, so the Final Checkpoint was close enough to being the same.
I live in a Cartoon World as I am surrounded by Characters.

OMG, I have to do it again...But the porch is wet, maybe the tree would be happy with that......
There are also small branches sticking out from the stem almost near the bottom, so have to trim those to get the tree into the stand. I don't remember trees looking quite like this before...I ws sure that there was more of a stem...
QUOTE=Mechman47;5763291]You need to put the tree in water tonight, or you will have to cut it off again tomorrow when you set it up.
The tree will try to heal itself almost immediately after the cut.
Forms a layer across the wound to help the tree hold its moisture, but you don't want that!
You are going to give it water to help keep it from drying out too soon.
If the seal forms across the cut, it can't take water in, or water out!
Water now, or cut again tomorrow if you want the tree to last until New Year's[/QUOTE]
