Target rant turned into a big brag!! :)

My ds decided he really wanted NHL 2014 for his x-box 360 so I called around to the target stores near me. Once I found one with stock I asked them to put one on hold for my little man and that we would be there later. Once we made it to the store they didn't have any on the shelf so I went to ask if the had my one I placed on hold. No one could find it, my poor 9 year old was so upset I was heartbroken for him. The manager came to talk with us and was amazing!! He offered to give him a deal on another game, but there weren't any new ones that he wanted. The manager than handed us a $20 gift card for our time and he gave my son a rain check for the game. What amazing customer service!!! my ds found himself a movie on our way out to buy with the gift card and we will call the store every few days (he manager said to call daily but that's crazy) to ask if they have the game in.

I love Target! Even though they still have some kinks to work out(lack of stock, items still don't scan), the customer service is amazing! Yesterday I had them offer to carry my stuff out to my car for me, and they're always super helpful trying to help you find what you need and calling other stores.
Would much rather spend a few buck more at Target and deal with happy employes than deal with the miserable clued out employes at Walmart.

Nice to hear that there is good peoples and good services. We all deserve good costommer sevices, we spend our $$$ there and some of us spends lots of $$$$. I do feel sorry for your little one and also hope that he is happier. Great brag and thank you for sharing...................

Thanks everyone! Hopefully my ds will have the game soon. But I am very impressed with how his was handled and I will happily continue to shop at target because of this experience.
