Well, I'm glad I didn't go down then today. A group of my girlfriends did, but I didn't go. I hate large crowds, and I hate to say it, but I probably would have been one of the ones who ended up in jail today.

I got fed up a few years ago and my mom and sister always force me to go with sis. I run people over with my cart if they hit me and I have given as many cussings as i have gotten. always cussed at first thou.

the one job is at a jewellery store in the mall the other job is a modelling job but its not really a model job you just hand out samples or coupons to people and try to sell the products not bad for $15 an hour!

thanks guys and yep NS when they called me back I asked if it was too late to switch to part time she said I can after this week because she already did up the schedule for the week, so I said that was ok. so I am doing the jewellery store part time and have to wait back to hear from the model job about what hours its going to be and where i have to be LOL
and im pretty sure i will be laid off after christmas cause that store really isnt busy ever when i have been there so i highly doubt if i turned down the model job that i would have work after christmas thats why i said yes to both

good move rose, will they be able to work around your modelling schedule or vice-versa? i know it's hard working 2 jobs together. usually you give one a copy of what your hours are at the other place and if they ahve enuf flexible part time staff they are willing to do it.

but then i worked at both burgerking (where i was 2 years b4 getting 2nd job), and convergys call center. i was fulltime at bk, switched to p/t as convergys paid more. alot more. their overtime rocked. one week i came home with a $1000 paycheck. never seen that b4 in my life. felt good tho. bk, i was making 800/month!

that looks good on your jobs apps to that you were getting 15/hr, shows what your worth

we were at the retail part of our food bank buying xmas lights (can't find mine), got 4 sets for $4.

my son dropped his money all over the floor.

thanks for the words. i think someone gave me pixie dust i have been so sleepy. i could be charging my batteries, this is not always a good thing. the people around me can't keep up because i am like the energizer bunny.as usual everyone has been been busy here too. congrats rose i know you were waiting for a good job. angel people are just rude, you need a mantra. that could be it. breathe deeply and say as many times as you have to "people are just rude" "people are just rude". i won't tell you mine but i feel so much better and i don't cry or throw things as often.

Oh wait someone was super sick on here, can't remember now but spotting and everything, I so hope you are okay. If you were having stomach cramps could it be a cyst on your ovaries or something? I had that a few years ago and I was terrified cuz my eldest was like 4 months old and I was nursing everytime he would latch on I would go into crazy abdominal pains...finally went to the hospital again super stubborn and only went when I was crying from pain (it had been days) and was told I cysts on my ovaries that had probably just popped. I do not know the medical terms for it all, maybe lolcat can explain that
I have a major dilemma work wise maybe someone could help. So I have been taking this tax class with H&R Block and I did super well so I think if I apply for a job to do taxes this year they will hire me. But here is the deal. They pay minimum wage. Can you believe the people doing your taxes are just getting min wage? So I have no problem with min wage even though I was an exec a few months ago in a major corporation but my beef is they expect you to know alot and be smart and do alot and really use your brain to maximize people's tax returns etc...so use my brain but only pay min wage? wtf??? I like the work I think it will give me a chance to interact with alot of people and work probably p/t but still close to 30hrs a week but it is only really for abour 3 months during the tax rush. But the local No Frills is also hiring pt cashiers and clerks and I was thinking of doing that. It is min wage I am sure but (no offense to anyone) may require less of my mind than doing taxes. So what do I do here? The plus of H&R Block is every yr you work for them you get more money and free education in the fall so that saves me about $300 since thats the cost of their courses. The plus of No Frills is it is permanent well not seasonal like H&R Block and it is close to home I could walk there.

well they said they would work around it but i guess i wait and see if they actually will if they wont screw them i will take the model job since the jewellery store considers me a student since i am taking music in college so i only get student wages so i will make about $100 more doing the model job then working that full time job at the jewellery store since im considered a student to them wtf...but guess i wait and see how it goes LOL

i have people with bas,and grad students work at mcdonalds to help pay student loans. i babysit a lot for extra money even though i have my own business. i work on a contract basis and contracts at certain times of year can be scarce. if i don't have plans on new years eve i can make really good money. lol .you would be wonderful for revenue canada, they have periods of emplyment 3 or 4 times a year.it will listed on the website, you write a test and when it is time you get a call. if they like you will be put on call back list. my friend does this everyear and there is room for advancement and training if you want it.

amy, that's why i did not do h&r block. but if the course is free, do it, work for a while, and then go to rev canada like kaela suggests. i worked at burgerking for more than min wage. ppl were nice that i worked with. luved it. worked at convergy's, never really got to know anyone. no one lasted past the training period. i lasted a record 6 months.

ya revenue canada is the way to go, absolutely. my brother did taxes for them.

Just so you all know I was rather ill, and not to spoil the mood so we can make funnies and stuff, well I started spotting and it got real heavy. Bad heavy, had to go to ER they did crap and went to gyn today she at this point cant' fidn the cause it has stopped for now tg. So it's a matter of waiting.
