Shoppers Personalized coupons - sucking lately?

So... I went to a store a few day ago and the cashier said you should get the new card, I'll transfer the pts for you... I said ok... Now I didn't get any offers. I called sdm, he said if any changes at the store level happens, the emails get disrupted, so he fixed it for me and now I won't get any offers and it could take weeks...

My card is almost about to break,it's 15 years old,
so many times cashier told me I can give you new card,but I said no,
because if I change my card I probably don't get the offers,it also happened with my friend,and it almost took 2 months to get the offers back for her new card.

Yes you will surely get the points because manufacturer coupons are counted towards promotion.
if your base points are 750 or more you will get the points.
if you don't get them call the head office,I always use these type of promo coupons and get the points.

I apologize if this has been addressed earlier. In the snail mail I received (among others) a coupon from SDM for $2 off any Colgate toothpaste (75mL or larger). I tried to use this today on the sale Colgate, which was $1.99. The cashier said the system wasn't allowing it. I asked if the coupon could be adjusted to $1.99, and she said she couldn't because once it scans, it doesn't allow any price adjustment. She tried several times with no success. I dunno. Anyone have any experience with this?

I bought cereal last week for $1.77 and used a personalized $2 off any cereal. It just made the price $0.00 but worked. Hope this helps!

it should work even if she didn't scan your optimum card it should still work did you hav the right size toothpaste? She shouldn't have to make any price adjustment the system does it all
i'd try again if you still have the coupon

Yup, I triple checked to be sure the item met the requirements. I'm going to go back shortly and see if maybe they can adjust the price of the toothpaste...

the cashier shouldn't have to adjust anything be sure to scan your card first as long as she enters the coupon using the coupon code on the coupon it should work fine

Perfume is pretty subjective. Depends on taste and hormones in your skin. Perfume reacts differently on different people so it has a different smell.

The funny part? I buy brand name perfumes, but he only celebrity perfume I buy is Britney Spears Midnight Fantasy. And the regular price is $19.99 at SDM. LOL

I also got pay $39.99 on any celebrity fragrance.
now my question is which celebrity perfume is the best and is it worth to use this coupon

Is the 2000 points WUS $5 a personalized coupon, or is it a store offer (like in the flyer or shown on the shelf tag)? If it's at the store level, it will automatically be in the system and you can combine with no issue. If it's another personalized coupon, then it becomes up the cashier - although considering only one relates to points, and the other relates to the price - as long as you reach that $5 level you have fulfilled the requirements of the points promo and it should be awarded.
Now, how many will actually become $0.49 is a gamble - there doesn't seem to be any pattern in how they are applied. The best you can do is just try it.

^Thanks for replying. I think I will pass. Based on my prior experience, twice, coupon worked for one item only. Once I bought 4 or 5 different varieties of crackers and my "any cracker" coupon just worked on the first item and that was it. Second time, can't remember what I bought but both were identical items and it worked for only one of them. I was hoping some one might have used it and it automatically worked for more cans. At my store, can was scanning at $1.29 which is too expensive for me to buy 10 of them and the shelf had probably 4-5 cans which would be a hassle again to ask for extra from store that I won't probably buy .

I know your issue. Many cashiers (including some supervisors) do not know how to process a coupon if item is cheaper than it in East. Just try different cashier and when you locate that cashier remember that person because you will need him or her again. I remember at one of the stores where I used to go to there was a guy in photo section only who knew how to do that. Even the store supervisor told me to use the coupon after sale is over next week and price is higher than the coupon again .

Yesterday I used same coupon for colgate total (on sale 1.99) without any problem and comp. just make price 0. So it should be same, may be their system has some problem. Try again hope it will work.
