Time For A Bragging Rules Discussion

When someone posts a brag that several people find questionable, and yet people are posting things like, wow, i wish i could be like you, and omg, you are the queen/king of whatever...how do think that makes people feel, those who are more inclined to post regular brags?

I found momi's brags very helpful,if you see her previous brags,she explained everything very nicely,what coupons has been used,including the pic of receipt( proof of purchase) and products picture.
so if I leave nice comments like you are awesome,or king/queen of deals,I think nothing wrong with it.
we learn from each other.i am still learning too because of so much wonderful smart canuckers.

Mostly shelves are cleared at Walmart,
I think Walmart doesn't want to restock.so I don't bother to shop at Walmart.

I can see you all reading, don't be afraid to reply even if you disagree with the majority - we need as many opinions as possible before changing the rules

I don't think anyone means to insult those who give back, but there are a lot of people on fixed budgets who would like to get one or two for their own use, rather than pay for them leaving less money for food too. Especially those who do not drive or need to make a trip into a city for shopping, cleared shelves generally upset people.

People commenting on how your brags were techinically against SDM's rules are not negative even though you were allowed to do so by the manager of the store/s you used.

Yes but most of people start giving moral lessons.

I think some posters should keep their high and mighty opinions to themselves. Im so sick of reading it more and more often.

The OP is not asking you if you would do what they did, they are just sharing the great deal they got. Im sick of reading peoples opinions of HOW the deal was achieved. No one cares to read about your negative opinion, we read the brag posts to read about the BRAG, not someone else's personal "moral coupon" opinion.
I very rarely bother posting brags anymore.
No one is bragging about doing anything illegal. If a stores system or manager ALLOWS something, then I guess IT IS ALLOWED. YMMV. Whatever.
Are you telling me that a rule has never been bent for you. For example I bet that there have been times where you have used more than 1 coupon (one per customer) because cashier let you or you went through multiple times? I am sure there are many examples of ways we have all had the coupon rules bent for us in one way or another. How is "one little white lie" different from another?
Don't come down on someone for buying multiples either. I got over 200 can of free soup at Zehrs a few months ago. Guess where 95% of it went? Food bank and shelters. Don't assume the worst of people.
To each their own and leave it at that.

agree, being a newcomer I love to read about other people's savings, 100% or not. I remember that I once gave the cashier a coupon for the wrong product (dove coupon for an Olay product), I just got caught up in the excitement that I was about to save even more on something, it wasn't intentionally. However, with that being said if I do have 50 coupons for 50 free items then I will get 50 items but I always and I mean always make sure that I speak to someone from management and they ok it. 99% of the time I only get products with coupons for items that I actually use, if its something that I don't use then I can't be bother to waste gas for it. free or not.
