If you don't need toothpaste yourself, maybe some people can buy them and donate them to the food bank or your local women's shelter?
Check out my new life blog.

Sooo, I headed for my wm pm-ing shop excited to get the Crest 3d white deal only to leave empty handed.
The fine print on the back of the coupon says "no cash or credit in excess of shelf price may be returned to customer or applied to transaction"
After much back and forth, the CSM said that they are not allowed to give cash back to the customer and the overage cannot be applied towards something else (not only this specific coupon, but with any coupons). I thought this was contrary to their policy, but I was already so uncomfortable by the whole process that I didnt bother questioning it.

Now when did they come up with this policy........
i think the walmart policy states that an overage is adjusted towards the entire bill amount and if the customer has not purchased anything and has overage the money shall be returned.

Sorry d.ot it was indeed disappointing.

Disappointing indeed. I did mention their policy but it does seem to conflict with the fine print of the coupon. I am thinking about writing to head office - if anything, just to receive clarification on what is the right thing to do in this sort of situation....should I have gotten the toothpaste for free, or were they right to reject the coupon?
