The last Monday in August finds us already September bound,
Some say that summer never quite got off the ground,
It wasn't filled with humidex alerts that were tinged with haze,
It wasn't all that great for the ones who like to absorb sunny rays,
Some voiced their disapproval but their complaints were in vain,
& I think Milli Vanilli would just Blame it on the Rain,
So there's summer-ing that is still to be done & be had,
Go swimming or to a BBQ if you're feeling sad,
Remember we still need to brunch one of these days soon,
I'll see you when we convene the next meeting of the Club Q Platoon.

We had a great time on the Q cruise...

I won the latest Jimi Hendrix CD...
Catherine won a CD of a group called papermaps...I have never heard of them.

Catherine also had an unexpected benefit. She was, of course, wearing t-shirt of her favourite group, Linkin Park, since there was a concert later that day...
She was asked if she was going to the concert, and where were her seats...and would she like an upgrade from the 300 level to section 101? She just had to ask at the EDGE 102 booth, where they had texted her name, and were expecting her! She was delighted, of course...

Who would have expected that !

Does require you to "presize" your pics.

evening Q sters,wow. looks like you Q sters had a great time on the cruise. great pics, MM. BTW, nice wins for you & BWW.could someone please explain to me the concept of smurf blue, neon green, hot pink & purple hair colour. while at the Ex yesterday, there were numerous people sporting these hair colours. some of these people were not just the "young crowd". as far as i'm concerned, they looked really silly, but i guess there's some reason to their rhyme. i remember when dressing in jeans, kodiaks & lumber jackets were the fad or getting a dual ear piercing was a bold move. i just don't get the neon hair thing.tomorrow is the company customer appreciation BBQ, between 12-4 pm. at least it's during work hours & we don't have to stay after work for it like we did with the old job.nice pic of Lola, Lee. at least this weekend was a little better weather wise for your girls weekend.
