We are planning on staying home for Christmas this year. All of our relatives live several hours away. Dh works for Purolator, so the holidays are their busy time of year and they are not allowed to book any days off during that time of year. This will hopefully save us a lot of stress and money.

Think I'm ready to finish some shopping this weekend. I have some ideas and want to scratch people off my list. I may be able to start wrapping next week. Woohoo!

Has anyone done those floor-wax-and-glitter clear ornaments? Do they hold up after a couple years? I worry that the floor wax would melt a little in a warm house. [Edit, apparently it's 'pledge with future floor finish' and not wax? I don't know, I have never waxed a floor]
Also, has anyone found knockoff floor wax/finish like the pledge at a dollar store, or fine glitter? I now have 20 of these clear ornaments (only paid $1 total for all of them too!) and have decided my BF's mom needs a set of 4 pink ones to go on her obnoxious pink treeLast edited by Chantel; Mon, Sep 29th, 2014 at 12:34 AM.
