Good morning, everyone.
I suspect it's going to be a long day. I stayed up til dawn chatting with a good friend. Then my bestest canine friend and roommate insisted on waking me up an hour after I finally went to bed. Not to be outdone, my bestest feline friend then screamed at me for taking too long in making breakfast and - horrors! - serving the same thing as yesterday. Clearly I am not getting any Xmas bonus from them.
Off to go cuddle my cat if I know what's good for me.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Well, I'm back from a great trip to Turkey, we were staying about a 10 minute walk from the Galata Bridge and walked over it a few times. Can't say I'm thrilled to be back - as always I never like vacations to end, it's so neat to be somewhere different and seeing so many new things.

No way was I going shopping, don't like it @ the best of time, but I had to go out for a dr's. appt. Traffic was heavy; saw long line ups out into the parking lots, and one fight.

When you awaken to find that Morning Has Broken, be glad that the daylight is your host,
As it’s alright to be Miles From Nowhere, let your moral self just guide you to coast,
There is always a Silent Sunlight, to propel you to soar & to believe,
Just remember that even a Hard Headed Woman, cannot hide it all up her sleeve,
Let the Moonshadow grant you serenity & the most gentle, sweet healing vibes,
As the Wild World can be enticing & beguiling, so be mindful where you keep your tribes,
It was once just Another Saturday Night, & the mirror told an accurate story,
How Many Times does one need a reminder, to bypass that potential quarry,
I found that Tuesday’s Dead repeatedly, can insight become habit forming?
But I Might Die Tonight may sound like a parable or like a cliché,
Front & centre I do have to ask you please, Where Do The Children Play?
Is it as simple as a stop on the Peace Train; is it physio for mystified mind?
If you went to Katmandu, are you prepared to begin a new climb?
I’m pleased that sometimes we Can’t Keep It In, because it’s good to verbalise,
Even if it is the Last Love Song & you think your heart is running low on supplies,
I once dreamed of Tea For The Tillerman & wondered what I possibly could offer to him,
Are there really Longer Boats swiftly swirling & can I think long past a whim?
The First Cut Is the Deepest, but healing brings so much potential,
For The Artist has always intrigued my thoughts & intellection is quite simply essential.

Welcome home Evelyn! You must be a bit on the jet lagged side of town. We've all been behaving...can you believe that?
Check out this picture. It came through to me as Somewhere in Toronto. I love the cars & those gas stations.
