I went to Shoppers bright and early this morning to do my two Super Redemptions worth $210 each.
First I got them to go to manager's office and pull out the Acer laptop on sale this week that they'd put aside for my pickup. Redeemed 95k points for $210 off the sale price of 379.99 - a great deal for an 8gb/500gb machine that'll make a great Christmas gift for someone special!
(I know that Shoppers' electronics policies aren't the greatest but our local Shoppers is really good and the manager toldl me that I should check it out to make sure it's working properly and, if not, they would help me deal with the issue. I'm going to open the laptop up once we have our new router, to ensure it's fully tested and functional before Christmas morning.)
Then it was back in the store for a wide-ranging redemption getting some groceries, some toiletries and some chocolates.
None of my personal offers this week were really good but I had some useful coupons, especially the $2 coupon for the Covergirl mascara on sale for $6.99 (and a tearpad of those same coupons was conveniently hanging right over the mascara, so check your own Shoppers!).
I was really happy with the flyer offers: diapers are needed for the Infant Food Bank drive and those were a great deal! I got some cheap Christmas candies as stocking stuffers as well as peanut butter for 2.99 and the LB paper towels, two packages for $5.
They were only out of stock of one item on my list so I didn't have to substitute very much at all.
I didn't take a photo since some of the haul was dropped off for the Infant Food Bank drive before I even made it home and the gifts had to immediately get hidden away from nosy giftees (including one yawning teen who finally awoke an hour and half after I'd left to go shopping). All that you would have seen was a modest pile of groceries, dry goods and toiletries. But it filled the trunk of my car which is pretty impressive - that goes on for miles! This thread is currently associated with: Shoppers Drug Mart

Sounds like a fun trip! I am not ready to redeem, nothing is calling to me and I have found most of my Christmas gifts online elsewhere. But I will be stopping by today for a few things and just added the mascara to my list! Thank you, I have been waiting on that one. There is a CO51 $1.50 back on Covergirl Full lash Bloom, do you know if that one was on sale?

I had no idea there was such thing as infant food bank. Is this something local to you or are they everywhere?

Nice redemption! Very nice of you to pick up diapers for donations. Since diapers are so expensive, this is something I'm sure the charity need all the time.
