IGA had Villaggio bread for $1.99 so I got a couple loaves free with coupons. As well, I cashed in some of my SoF points to get two $25 Winners gift cards and bought some clothes. Maybe I missed something but from what I've seen the post xmas sales are pretty much non-existent so far this year.

I popped out this a.m. in search of a few bargains
No Frills-short dated large tubs of Astro yogurt .25 cents
Fresh brussel sprouts-20 cents per lb
Egg nog .77 per litre
Loose bananas .85 kg
Co-op
Medium eggs- 99 cents with store coupon, limit two
shortdated Maple Leaf flattened herb and garlic chicken- 3.30 per kg so popped those in the freezer.
Pretty happy with the prices I found. In total at two stores I only spent $35.00 and got lots of fresh produce, meat, dairy, nuts, bread, hamburger etc. Easily enough to feed my family of 3 well for several days.

Radicchio (lettuce) - personal offer from PC 1600 pts, was 1.35 so made 25 cents
Does anyone know if I buy several units of these and had them scanned individually, would I get the points for each? I have had pts for the bagged romaine, but each has a UPC. Is it different if it is weighed - ie - do the points combine?

One of my favourite stores, Book Outlet (formerly Book Depot) on Welland Ave. in St. Catharines, is running a 50% off everything in the store sale Dec. 26, 27, 29, 30. I bought Melissa and Doug toys, Lauri educational materials and lots of books! In the past, the Melissa and Doug material hasn't been included but it is this year and they have a huge selection. Love, love, love Book Outlet's annual Boxing Week Sale!
