Migranes...Do you suffer?

You are so lucky that you know what causes yours. I have had mine since May2006 and it has never gone away. I wish something could help. I think I have tried everything!

Oh I have no idea what causes them, I just relate it to certain things, it's probably time of month related too.

I get them occassionally too! Serious pounding over my eye (usually left) - that I can't open my eye- too painful - I have to lay in a quiet, dark room until medication makes me fall asleep. I find that I get them when I'm having a lazy day - and haven't gotten fresh air or exercise...so I am trying to be really conscious of this

YES - going in and out, in and out!! ack!!!!

Sometimes they wake me up at night and I have to check to make sure I am not bleeding

Hello everyone,

I get migraines as well .... I was prescribed axert and it is awesome (but 108 dollars for 6 pills, yikes!) I would definitely recommend talking to a doctor about triptans, they are helpful.

For preventative treatment I was told feverfew or vitamin B2 could help, and they are available over the counter.

I am glad you found something that worked...I tried those in the summer-you are right lots of $$$$ and they just knocked me out for 2 hours and I still had the headache!
