Got 371 Airmiles today on a $130 spend! Was only going to pickup cheese, bacon and juice boxes to get my free milk but then I hit the jackpot on 30% off ground beef and 50% spices so I added on my regular groceries and got the 125 WUS $100 deal too.
Nobody else has mentioned it, but I think the bacon for $3.99 is a pretty good deal for 500g since so many packages are 375g now. Another decent deal is the Old Dutch Salsa and Salsa Con Queso for $3 and 20 Airmiles WUB2. These are made even better as part of the 125 WUS $100 deal if you have enough stuff on your list

I hope the maple bacon is good...can't beat $2.42/500g

Ya mine was 410 miles on $104. Later next week maybe monday and possibly another day to do a couple $30 shops basically for yogurt and salsa and get more free milk. I'm curious to see what the twitter deal will be for monday.

Couldn't resist the cheese deal so I went and did 6 of the cheese transactions of b2get 100 airmiles. Basically spent $119.94 for 600 airmiles, less than .20 per airmile vs buying it at .30 airmile and getting free cheese. Trying to earn 6000 airmiles this year to get to Onyx level to fly family to Mexican vacation-so hard trying to collect so much.

Cheese was only 600 to 700 g. We use to cross the border to Fred Meyer to get our cheese for my and my brother's. I cut them up into blocks or grate them and then freeze them. The cheese doesn't freeze too well for slicing, but are great when you need it for making mac & cheese, pasta etc. Yes duly noted on the cholesterol. Thanks. Another reason to cut bacon out of our diet.

I thought the comment on cheese funny. If you only knew how much cheese we buy (family of 5). It is ridiculous even to me. I guess as the parents we will need to watch the cholesterol but the kids will be good
. Wanna know how much we eat..... at least 2 (700g) blocks a week.

Heh ya I like cheese too and the cracker barrel is a decent brand. My rule of thumb is if you're paying $10/kg or lower it's a good deal!
I know you can freeze cheese just for cooking, but I have never done it.
I worked in this industry before and a word of advice is NEVER buy processed cheese aka slices or cheeze whiz you don't want to know what goes in it!

Sorry been busy today flyer is here : http://forum.smartcanucks.ca/401746-...a/#post6351280
Nothing exciting in my opinion.
I went and did a $100 shop today. Realized i could use the milk coupon for a 4L of choco milk mmmm.
I'm pretty good at memorizing prices so i know when something is actually a good sale. I noticed the other day that Del monte canned fruit is in the current flyer for 99 cents each reg safeway overprice is $3.29??? Anyways I checked a few other stores and nobody comes close to this price on the del monte canned fruit. Anyways I bought about 40 cans. they last till 2017. I think it's a good product to stock up on and use towards the $100 coupon. If anyone knows that these ever go on sale for less than 99 cents please speak up, but I'm guessing it never does.Last edited by Tommycoupons; Wed, Mar 25th, 2015 at 07:01 PM.
