GM Cereal with t-shirt pins 97c box, no coupons :)

Was doing my regular RCSS shop this morning and came across a display of General Mills cereal 97c/box limit of 4 and the boxes have the pins for the t-shirts. So I took a photo as I "knew" there would have to be a problem with that. Sure enough at the checkout it scanned at $3.98 box (limit 4 and then $4.98 after that). Turns out the display had been screwed up and that price was supposed to be for something else - no barcode on the display price, so they wouldn't give me SCOP, but they did honor the price. So:

4 x GM cereal (and 4 t-shirts) 4 x 97c = $3.88

I was just thinking I hadn't had a good deal at RCSS for ages!!

They did I didn't post the location of the store because she sent someone straight down to pull the price sign.

yeah , no point if they fixed that error...isn't it great though that they will honour that price? I tip my hat to the stores at times.

If I find something that is a really good deal (in my opinion) I always take a photo because often the price is wrong at the checkout and it usually saves the cashier sending someone to do a price check.

You can always tell a smartcanucker from the amateur. PICTURES! That's what you call payment for doing someone else's work!
