Some are meant just for iPhone users, not Android devices.

They don't allow tablets in general, I can't use most rebate apps on either of my tablets but his older phone can be used with most of them. For many, it is because they use location services etc not available on your tablet or require a certain type of camera

I'm pretty sure you can use Checkout 51 and Snap Saves on a regular computer, @coupongirl does it. Download Google chrome if the regular browser won't load them on to your tablet, there will be 3 little dots on the right side of the address bar, click on that go down to request desktop site and it should work. It will also work for for websaver, save.can and smartsource.(I use all these on my iPad with chrome since iPads don't support java and I'm too lazy to start my laptop every time I want to print a coupon).

For the most part, the rebate apps are about the quality of the camera. The app sets minimum requirements such as 5MP camera, Android KitKat+ etc and then when you go to google play, it checks to see if your device matches the requirements
You can usually find the app file by searching for sideload "app name" and save it to your phone/tablet and install it, but you need to make sure you are not giving your device a virus and it may crash as it is not meant for your device
