Just received some real good news. The people that had put an offer in on the house, had the home inspection done on her yesterday & it has passed. The only thing left is for them to sell their house. If all goes well, i'll be moving Nov 10th or possibly sooner. There was some talk about moving up the closing date to mid Oct, but we'll see once their house sells. Guess I better start looking for a place to live now that things seem to be moving forward.

Yes RL... I get it, but it really ticks me off when as a Canadian (all 4 of my immediate family members (born and raised in Canada)) we need to support / defend who we are individually - as in this case with the new ID's. One thing I can thankfully, honestly say is that "we" (2 of the 4 of my immediate family members) have recently used OHIP quite a bit between doctors / hospitals and we were never asked for additional "picture ID" which "they" say is necessary now with the red and white cards.

I think if it is obvious that English is your first language, and that it "appears" that you are a ligit Canadian / Ontarian (is that the right word??) then hospital / doctor staff think it's ok for the red / white card... If they are suspicious, then they will ask for additional ID....

Sorry for the rage...... maybe it's the wine talking??? It's been a long week for me.....

have had an interesting/boring time with the laptop,

told by toshiba i may need a new hard drive
blah blah blah -- then el shootsoh, things were back to okish???


i am hardly ever up to par with what is going on here,
glad it seems everyone has enjoying the last week

or so,,, and can't be just me happy that we are
lucky to not have snow, hail, massive rain etc.

although could be interesting for a minute or 2

great to see sc thinks added spaces to a post is a good idea,
surely can't just be me, but never see anyone else mentioning

thinking i just did this again,
a few days ago i got up to phone someone
at 1030 am, (i hardly ever am awake then)
and fell asleep here until after 630 pm in this chair

neck is still hurting - and overdoing codeine etc.

what the heck, sorry seems to a be poor me post,
which of course is stupid, have one arm typing
around a beautiful longhaired gray kitty, so,,,
she is waiting to see if i bring up a crazy vid just
for her
