My secret is that I have a total awesome, extraordinary group of family and friends all around Ontario who collect coupons and send them to me! It started as a way for me to make it through University (Graduated last month!!) and save for buying a house. Everyone is so supportive and even when I would be cramming for an exam my mom/dad/brother/boyfriend who venture out to the store to get the deal that I just couldn't pass up!
I spend an average of 15 hours a week working on my couponing 'career', so it takes time!

Coupon recession.... I have become flexible! I now ensure that my savings are maximized by combining both points and coupons and money saving apps. I don't buy anything unless it is free, just pay the tax, (with exception to toilet paper..I will pay $1 for 12 double rolls!)

yes its on excel... I have a chart in the room and if someone comes by and needs/wants a product they simply take it and write down what they took. After every big shop I reconcile my inventory to ensure that everything is accounted for!
And as someone else mentioned some products have expiry dates, such as shampoo so that has to be accounted for on the spreadsheet as well.

Can't believe you have only been a member of SC since February. Did you coupon much before this date? Wish I had known about couponing while in college.
Open an account with Tangerine (ING) using my ORANGE KEY...29564343S1. When you open an account and deposit 100.00 you and I will both receive $25.00. Wait that's not all.....I will also send you 15.00 worth of coupons from your wishlist as a way of saying thanks.

Hi Frugal Mom! Yes I did coupon before that, I have couponed since my first year university which was 4 years ago. I also lived in the USA for part of the time so I was able to coupon there (I have got more for free/cheap in Ontario than I did in California). I had not really looked into use online forums to maximize my couponing potential until this year, and it has been great!
The website that I used to refer to was 'Canadian Free Stuff'

Absolutely AMAZING! Love the shelving and the organization. That room would definitely make me smile each and every time I entered the room. Congratulations on your new home. Exciting times ahead for you and your family.

Only started this July 20th this year and I'm learning a lot.
