Yesterday and today I made home made porridge with brown sugar and milk. Big brother ate so much out of my bowl that I'm still hungry. I'll have to find something else to eat.

This morning’s juicy sausages got a wee bit overdone,
But sometimes crunchy breakfasts are really lots of fun,
Smother them in HP Sauce or ketchup if you must,
Cause these are the kind of sausages that have a crispy crust,
A slug of good strong coffee & a piece of buttered toast,
With a nice dry breakfast like this, through the day you’ll coast,
Wear something bright & flashy for it is the theme today,
Now off you go & enjoy as you continue on your way.

DH and I were kitchen cooking buddies this a.m. We did not eat breakfast as we were chopping, peeling etc BUT every now and then he would crunch a piece of raw cabbage and I did the same with a piece of carrot. Coffee was on hand. What a lovely morning this was!
