I was wondering about those. I don't know about you, but those are pretty much the same offers I get in the mail roughly every couple of months -- which repeat regularly in my email for the duration of each promotion. It is getting to the point that there does not seem to be a single week where I can't find (eg) Swiss Chalet 2 quarters + appy + pie for $19.99. Also, Scene usually offers 30x point coupons for their partner restaurants. (You can only use one or the other.)

For my part, I find it better to buy an Ultimate card during SDM's promo (8000 pts w $175 in total gift card spend), to spend my PC points on gift cards, or to wait until a good Scene multiplier to buy an Ultimate card. PetroCan also occasionally has 20x Petro Points on buying gift cards there -- might be happening closer to holiday season.
