A day the florists totally adore,
For the guys who buy roses & they buy em' galore,
Chocolates oh yes, they are simply the best,
I am glad to report that all chocolates will pass the tes
One item I'd recommend having handy is a trusted corkscrew,
Jewelry is so personal & I'll leave that transaction entirely up to you,
Celebrate how you wish & you can even opt to ignore,
But, do pick up a card the next time you go to the store.

I kinda entered a pizza for 4 contest at a local place close to where I live.

Yesterday was my hospital Tuesday. It went quite & I am so pleased that they have changed my literary. I will only have to go downtown to Princess Margaret once a month instead of every 2 weeks. Isn't that just totally wonderful? The wear & tear on me will be lessened.
Still the same treatment (medications) that I take at home & the same procedures......we'll see how this goes. I will still have the CT scans every 2 months to keep an eye on the tumours in my lungs & in my pelvis. My scan results have been very favourable & if I we can keep these tumours on the behaving side of town, I will be successful at keeping it at bay.
I wish I wasn't so tired & some of the other side effects are not so nice (particularly the nausea). The fight is still motivating me to stay as active as possible.

So once again I have arrived at Treatment Tuesday. Just when I am starting to feel like me again, I have to take my drugs & go through the drill.
Tuesdays & Thursdays are treatment days. Wish me luck this week. Then next week again & the following week I am off.
My son's girlfriend is coming over today. Looking forward to seeing her as she is such a sweet gal. I'm making pizza & maybe a side order of ribs.
It sure is nice to see the sunshine. I hope it is a great day for everyone. Is it true we have a storm coming?

Morning greetings to all. I was at my #1 Grandson's Hockey game last night. The OMHA Semi Finals. Only 4 teams left in Ontario. His team has worked so hard & I am proud of that kid. He has such commitment, focus & dedication. He is an amazing young guy who makes me feel so proud to be his Grandma. It was quite a noisy place with all the cheering. His team lost, but game 2 is in Barrie this Saturday. My life is so enriched by my son's family. They make me proud every single day. They work hard & have wonderful children. Who would have thought that Loocie would be a hockey Grandma?

I will keep you in my thoughts during your treatment Tuesdays and Thursdays Loocie. Amazing young hockey great! ( your GS ) and lovely that their lives are full and active. Cheer loudly on Saturday!!
