I went to Loblaws this morning and got 3 pre-made salads, 1 yogurt parfait, 2 bags of bagels, 2 loaves of bread, 2 empanadas all with 50% off stickers, and 2 bars of Kraft old cheese at $3.99. All paid for by Loblaws gift cards that I redeemed a couple of weeks ago using PC points! Then I went to Freshco but they didn't have anything marked down so I bought 2 apples and 2 bananas and remembered I had a Visa gift card that I found on a street earlier this winter. I thought there was nothing left on it but there was $1.40 which covered my fruit!

Schneiders Naturals smoked Turkey. Reg $5.99
    Silent sale $3.50 - $2.50 mfc = $1 package + 3600 pc points
Bought 7 packages cause that's all the coupons I had.
Sliced up some fresh rye bread as soon as I got home. Yummy..

So I posted the above shop the other day. Was happy with the deal - No Frills Winnipeg.

Went back yesterday for a couple of other items. Wanted to price match and use the $2.50 coupons on a couple of Schneiders or ML hams but they don't sell those.

Noticed same smoked turkey restocked but no price on shelf. Asked the meat manager about the price = $3.50 due to overstock. This stuff is reg $5.99.

Bought 6 more packs @ $3.50 - $2.50 coupon. Had already used the Scheiders pc points offer so missed out on those.

AND....It paid to put on my GLASSES and actually READ the details on the Schneiders free product coupon from the booklet.
Each 3 lunch meat packages gave me a free READY CRISP BACON.

So, on my 1st shop the other day, I should have gotten 2 boxes of Ready Crisp free, had I READ and USED the free product coupon.

Bonus....still learning something new every day.

I was at Book Outlet's (formerly Book Depot) annual 3-day "Fill a Box" sale in St. Catharines during March Break. They provide the box and you fill it with books of your choice from their back warehouse for $29.95. I LOVE this sale and I was there all 3 days.

My best deal was the first day when I managed to pack 315 paperback books for children into 2 boxes for a total of 2 x $29.95 = $59.90 plus tax. That works out to 20 cents per book! Most were "I Can Read" leveled readers including a lot of Berenstain Bears, along with some Pinkalicious, Splat the Cat, Biscuit, Veggie Tales, Fancy Nancy, Mercer Mayer, and more. Can't beat that price for brand new books! (The suggested retail prices on the backs of the books range from $3.99 - $6.99 U.S.)
