Good afternoon. Thank you for the kind words on my wife, she’s is still not feeling great but getting better. The pools not even close. Did about 19 hours of grinding, nine fiberglass patches. Washed it with Muriatic acid and then TSP to get ready for paint, then it rained and rained so no paint yet. I may be able to paint in a couple of days according to the weather channel. Hoping to jack hammer out the old skimmer tonight. So after the paint and the skimmer the only thing left to do is re tile about a thousand missing tiles. And of course they don’t make them anymore, so I will have to use all the 1” x 1” individual tiles we have been collecting over the last ten years. Can’t see this finishing for a while.

Tile liners are very attractive initially, but not very easy to work with when they need repair.
I have a vinyl liner which I had to only replace once in 25 years. Much more practical in the long run and much less difficult when it comes to repair and maintenance.
My brother in law also had a tile liner and finally saw the light and installed a vinyl liner over top of the tile.
Hasn't had a problem with his pool since.
