The last long weekend before Christmas is upon us & it should be a good one. Boss's wife's birthday is today, so he wanted the long weekend off to take her to Fenelon Falls to see the falls colours & to Algonquin Park. so guess who's working this weekend. Still will have 2 days off, so better than nothing.

The man accused of tossing a beer can on the field at Rogers Centre was charged with mischief last night. Ken Pagan turned himself in to Toronto Police’s 52 Division at 7 p.m. Thursday night. The forty-one-year-old is to appear in court next month.

Jays Take Game One of ALDS

Toronto rocked Cole Hamels for five runs in the third inning as the Blue Jays thumped the Texas Rangers 10-1 to win Game 1 of the A-L-D-S. Game two goes in Arlington, Friday afternoon.

Good morning, everyone.

Everybody woke up in a happy mood. Lily dog insisted on taking me for a long wander around my Mom's building (mini cats aka squirrels were everywhere, so someone thought we had to try to make friends, sheesh). Murray fish is happy to have 'fish TV' courtesy of the little goldfish, he's quite happy watching his fellow water critters swimming enthusiastically (all seem to enjoy the flashing colours on the TV for some reason - it's quite amusing to see everyone lined up staring at the screen).

Better go make breakfast for myself, everyone else has had their kibble (well, the goldfish had flakes ). Going to try a new recipe for hors d'oeuvres today, so should get on it. If it turns out, I'll share the recipe.
