So I`ve had a high value gift card laying stagnant, couldn`t sell it in local groups, so decided to give it to CS (grin and bare the amount they give you which isn`t equal value)

I tried signing into my account, kept saying my password was invalid. Managed to get a password reset (a generated one) but there is no where to make a new one?

It also said my credit card is invalid and I need to link a new one, yet my credit card says pending transaction from CS. (They apparently add a $5 charge to your card then refund it to make sure you have the right card)

These two things together seem kind of sketchy? I have yet to physically mail them the card (Oh that's the other thing - they recommend you get a tracking number for high value cards - that's another $13 out of my pocket.)

If you`ve used card swap, what are your thoughts on it? Is it legit?
Did I just make a really terrible decision?

    Thanks

I haven't used them, but could you go to the store where it is from and split the large card into smaller gift cards that would be easier to sell? I know that not all stores do this

    I would've suggested Kijiji, first...
Or, y'know, if it's one I could use, message me. :p

I buy from Cardswap all the time, but have never sold any cards on it.

Totally legit from a buyer's standpoint. They ship fast and you give points quickly.

    Good luck with your decision!

I have only ever bought from CS, but never sold any cards to them. My only beef with them is that sometimes they have cards listed as "in transit" for weeks and weeks and weeks....so there is some dishonesty on their part. Totally legit though. Also, I wouldn't sell them my GCs, they take a huge chunk out of it (I understand they need to make a profit) and I get more my money but selling it myself on kijiji, etc.

I've used them. I've bought cards from them and sold a card too (Fairly high value at $200). I've never had any problems with them at all.
It is not how much we have, but how much we enjoy, that makes happiness.
