As some of you know, I haven't been well lately, so I haven't posted much; major migraine, with a couple of day long, &/or overnight hospital stays.
I'm being admitted on Sunday for surgery, and I'll be in for a couple of weeks, then 4 - 6 of recovery. So this is my last post for awhile.

Police issue safety alert after rash of collisions

Toronto police have issued a safety alert following a string of collisions around the city Wednesday that sent a number of people to hospital. Police responded to more than 30 collisions between noon and 8pm last night, including one collision involving an elderly pedestrian who was struck by a car near Bathurst and Eglinton in Forrest Hill. Police partly blamed poor weather for the uptick in collisions, but are reminding drivers there is a lot less day light this time of year, adding drivers and pedestrians need to be more vigilant.

Trudeau heads to Mexico after blunt talk about alternatives to NAFTA

For the first time as Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau is acknowledging NAFTA could be in trouble. Trudeau wrapped up his visit to Washington yesterday by saying he continues to believe that renegotiating and renewing NAFTA is the best option for all three countries involved. But not long after a sit down with Donald Trump, the PM suggested repeatedly that his liberal government is bracing for the worst. Trudeau - heads to Mexico today for his first official visit to that country.
