The Dark Tower - 7.5/10
I quite liked this one. The IMDB users only gave it a 5.8, not sure why. Mind you, it's been many years since I've read the original book and I don't remember any of it. Perhaps it didn't follow very closely. Irrelevant. I liked it.

Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets - 5/10
So much potential and they had to use her as the main co-character.
It's like trying to watch Pinocchio try to act before he became a real boy.
Nut Job 2 - 4/10
Should have stopped with Nut Job 1... even that wasn't great.
The Hitman's Bodyguard - 7.5/10
Sam Jackson and Ryan Reynolds. Need I say more?

The Survivalist - 6/10
If you like minimal dialogue in your movies then this is the flick for you.
Wind River - 8/10
Based on true events. Elizabeth Olsen and Jeremy Renner together again. They have good chemistry on screen.
Logan Lucky - 7/10
Entertaining hillbilly heist movie. And who knew that Daniel Craig could put on a West Virginian accent so well??
I had to check the IMDB cast list to make sure it was really him.

I just watched The Intern on Netflix. I was bored and had watched the Crown all the way through, and i hate the set-up comedy type movie normally, but Robert Deniro was awesome. His relationship with Anne Hathaway made me cry unexpectedly. Maybe it's the holidays....or there was something in my eye...

Star Wars The Last Jedi....10/10
That is not MY rating but rather the number I came up with after listening to the family all gabbing on and on about it on the drive home.
I of course could only nod and smile because......... I SLEPT through so many parts of it!! DH kept bumping me awake, we'd laugh, then I'd drift off again.
Not the movies fault at all, we went to the 10 p.m. show and good grief I never do well at a late screening.
I'll go again by myself at a more reasonable show time, like mid afternoon!

Our yearly viewing of Elf and Christmas Vacation this past weekend. DH doesn't like Will Ferrell at all but Elf is one he watched every year. We try to see The Grinch Who Stole Christmas, more for DD than the rest of us, but seem to miss it every year. This year we finally bought it on DVD for her, so she'll be very happy.

I've got Grinch and Sound of music ready to go for this weekend
Love both, Sound of music has been an annual thing since my young childhood, and the Grinch, well who doesn't love it when the mayor kisses his dog's rump lol.
