Had two $25 "Shop Downtown" cheques that I got in the fall during a promo. We used them tonight to have a fish and chips supper at an Irish Pub downtown. Also came with a delicious cream of cauliflower soup. Add an appetizer of onion rings and 2 sodas and there went the $50! Good thing it was free!

Hope you have great night. Songs like Starseed and Naveed immediately come to mind when you posted this.

Attended Book Outlet's annual Box Sale this week at their St. Catharines location. It was super busy but soooooooooo worth it to fill a box for $35 (including tax). One of my boxes has over 100 new paperback children's books in it, each ranging in listed retail price of between $4.99 - $10.99. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!

    At RCSS today:

    3 x Quaker Steel Cut Oats 709g @ $2.68 each = $$8.04

    earned 3 x 1,000 in-store PC Optimum points = $3.00 value

used a coupon for "buy 3 Quaker products over $6.00 and get a box of Quaker Super Grains Instant Oatmeal FREE"

earned 800 digital PC Optimum points for 200 pts/$1 spent on Quaker Instant Oatmeal = $ .80 value

    $8.04 - $3.80 (points value) = $4.24 for all 4 products!

isn't it satisfying to empty your cart of groceries on the belt, see the total of $132.00 ( gasping to yourself ) and then remembering you still have 3 " bread scam " GC's to redeem!?? OOP was now reduced to $57.61 yet still I was able to earn 7500 PC points for an offer of WYS $75.00 ?

Yesterday I was kinda a happy shopper!
