The wounds of war…
Vladyslav Voloshyn took his own life in his apartment on March 18, 2018.
Vladyslav was born in Luhansk on December 27, 1988, but resided in Mykolayiv. He served in the war zone, reserve Major, 2nd class pilot of Su-25 in the 299th Tactic Air Brigade, flew 33 missions over the war zone.
In 2010, Vladyslav graduated from the Kharkiv Aviation University. As of 2014, he carried out combat missions in the war zone, participated in the Battle of Ilovajsk. In August 2014, Vladyslav’s aircraft was shot down near Novokaterynivka, he parachuted to safety and made his way through occupied territories to the Ukrainian positions.
Vladyslav was awarded the Order of For Courage, 3rd Degree. Russian propaganda blamed Vladyslav Voloshyn for the downing of Boeing-777 MN17. He was released from the army in 2017. On July 7, 2017, he was appointed deputy general director of aviation at Mykolaiv International Airport.
Vladyslav leaves behind his grieving wife and two children.

Russian occupation forces violate "spring truce" by heavy shelling of Ukrainian positions in Donets sector. The enemy also used small arms to attack Ukrainian positions near Novohryhorivka.
No attacks recorded in Luhansk or Mariupol sectors.
One Ukrainian soldier wounded.
Ukrainian military captures Russian citizen Alexander Zayats who fought for the so-called "Donetsk People's Republic".The man is said to have joined the "DPR" in late May 2014, serving as commander of a reconnaissance and sabotage group
Former NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen in Brussels: "We must help Ukraine strengthen its ability to defend itself against Russian aggression, we must provide Ukraine with defensive weapons and system."

Mykhailo Hasanov died in hospital on March 16, 2018. Despite serious health problems, Mykhailo volunteered for active duty on the front lines.
Mykhailo was born in the village of Khotyn, Rivne Oblast. He served in the 14th Separate Mechanized Brigade and fought near Mariupol in 2015 and near Maryinka from 2015 to 2016. He returned home on leave, but the disease overwhelmed him and he passed away in hospital.

So wonderful to report another 24 hours has gone by without enemy shelling, gunfire or artillery attacks!

Ukrainian intelligence reports that Russian-occupation forces are massively seizing ID documents and passports from their soldiers and militants. By the morning of March 22, the men are obliged to hand over all documents that might directly or indirectly confirm their participation as "Russian or CIS citizens" in the military conflict in the Donbas.

Mandate of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine has been extended until March 31, 2019.
Senior Fellow in the Eurasia Center at the Atlantic Council Anders Aslund reports that the economy of Ukraine has lost almost $100 billion as a result of the Russian occupation and annexation of Crimea in February-March 2014 and Russia’s military aggression in Donbas since April 2014.

Mykola Muzhychuk, call sign “Kit” (Cat), passed away on March 19 in Kharkiv Hospital where he’d undergone surgery and extensive treatment.
Mykola was born in Lviv on March 25, 1969, but resided in Khmelnitsky. He served as Commander in the 41st Battalion “Chernihiv-2” of the 27th Artillery Brigade.
Mykola graduated from Simferopol State University. When war broke out, he volunteered for the front lines, joined the Aidar Battalion, fought at Shchastia, and in 2015 served in an intelligence unit. In August 2016 he was promoted to junior lieutenant
Mykola leaves behind his grieving wife and son, and an elder son from his first marriage.

"Spring truce" lasted exactly 2 days....Russian terrorists launch three attacks in Donetsk sector, namely in Avdiyivka, Maryanka, and Kamyanka. peaceful in Luhansk and Mariupol sectors.
No casualties on the Ukrainian side.

22-year-old Ihor Dulko was laid to rest in his hometown on March 22, 2018. He died of wounds in the Bakhmut Central City Hospital. A hand grenade detonated in one of the dugouts near Mayorsk checkpoint (corridor between Horlivka and Bakhmut, Donetsk Oblast).
Ihor was born on January 26, 1996 in Velyki Mosty, Lviv Oblast. He served as sergeant in the Kramatorsk Border Regiment of the Donetsk-Luhansk Regional State Border Service. Interrupting his studies at university, je joined the volunteer movement and headed for the front lines in Eastern Ukraine. In spring 2016, he was assigned to the Mukachevo Border Regiment and as of February 2017, he served as junior inspector of the Border Guard Service of the Kramatorsk Border Regiment.
He leaves behind his grieving parents.

Russian terrorist forces launch 44 attacks against Ukrainian positions in Luhansk, Donetsk and Mariupol sectors.
One Ukrainian serviceman killed, one wounded.

Myron Klymiuk died of heart failure on March 22, 2018.
Myron was born June 14, 1971 in Kolomyya, Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast. He enlisted in the Armed Forces and served in the Kulchytsky First Special Operations Battalion of the National Guard.
Myron leaves behind his grieving wife and two daughters.
