Payless to Begin Liquidation Sales

Payless Shoe Source will close all US and Canadian stores this year with Canadian stores closing by the end of May. Many will close in March with liquidation sales expected to start within a week.

They are yet to pay rent on 220 stores for this month so some could close very soon, worth checking for deals

So sad I loved their clearance deals and if I was ever in a pinch for a shoe last minute I could always find something in my size

Damn! I have loved Payless for a long time for inexpensive and fashionable shoes and sandals. Rats!

Went in to check liquidation sales, so far most women shoes are 30% off and accessories are 20% off of original prices. I do have to pick up the refreshing sneaker balls and shoe laces before they close, thinking maybe I should buy them now.

Payless was always my go to for cheaper shoes especially since I have a bigger shoe size and have wide feet.

Payless was always my go to for cheaper shoes especially since I have a bigger shoe size and have wide feet.

My aunt wears a size 12 and this was my go to place to get her shoes, she lives in Central America as a missionary and this was always my treat for her.

Local Payless (Thunder Bay) womens shoes 20% off and tall boots are 30% off. I picked up a pair of booties in black suede for $45 in total. I know that is not cheap but I love the style and if I wait too long, there won't be anything I like. I will be checking the store weekly from now until closing.

When you are in Hamilton, visit the Upper James clearance store for Millers Shoes (just north of the Linc, two plazas away but parking is super limited there). Sometimes there are size 12 footwear (runners, dressy casual, canvas slip-ons and boots) for sale @$59.99 +; I did see some fashionable John Fluevog shoes but they were over $100 in that size (my size as well).

I went into Payless today and womens shoes were still 30% off. However, accessories were 40% off so I ended up getting shoe laces and refreshing sneaker balls. Last week, they were 20% off. They rarely go on sale and I had to pay original price for it last time, which was a good deal.

My store is located in the GTA area, however I will continue to check at the store.
