We've just found out that our Daisy ( the cutest British Shorthair in the world) has a dust mite allergy... Her wheezing and itching worried so we decided to visit a vet... The doctor said it's seasonal but we already need a course of medication. He also advised some tips on how to clean the house from dust mites. I couldn't even imagine that Daisy is allergic! I'm so worried about her...

I would think that your Daisy's allergies would be treated like a human's. Allergy proof the mattress and pillows with allergy proof covers. Dust mites like people as well as animals so I would think covering her bed is a good idea too. I would check allergy websites for more info. Good Luck!

Had all 4 furbabies out for a short time this morning and got to chuckling at their antics. Murphy LOVES Hamlet, keeps trying to groom him.....I almost snapped the shot where Murphy licked the cat 3 or 4 times before Hamlet suddenly realized it was not his buddy Claudius licking him! Ewwww, doggy germs! I think that was why he hopped onto the other chair, but Murphy followed him over there too....lol

Turned out Claudius was too busy frustrating Rufus by crawling under one of the chairs, which saw Rufus trying ( unsuccessfully ) to squeeze his body under there as well. My coffee got cold trying to keep a keen eye on the cats, they are NOT outdoor cats but they both glare at me from the inside behind the screen door anytime I sit out with the dogs, so I thought I'd allow them a chance to sniff about.

one of our ginger cats literally PUSHES the small ceramic food dish across the floor when I enter the kitchen first thing in the a.m. Yes it is in fact breakfast time but seriously, this cat never goes hungry.
I feed the 2 of them wet canned food 3 times a day and the full dish of dry stuff is always there.
He is already so much larger than the other cat and our vet says do not allow him to get any larger, but he always meows and asks for food.
( At least I think that is what his meow means? ha ha )

@walkonby Have you ever tried those feeding devices that requires your cat to find an object in a room, deposit it in the device, which then releases some dry food or treat? Think that would keep him going overnight or in the early am (with some kind of visual light signalling to the cat, it's showtime!).

hmmmm, @Ciel I am not sure of what you are describing BUT we do have these funny wobbly things that we have placed dried treats inside and the cat has to bat at them which knocks it off balance and some treats fall out. Then it " rights " itself up again. sort of like a kids Weebles toy....do you remember those?
" Weebles wobble but they don't fall down! " ha ha

I've recently become smitten with a Korean kitty (Soseul) and her family on youtube-search for Soseol (the munchkin kat-vlog has been renamed Kish-log) and watch her adventures. I've never seen a cat shake before surgery (family could not give her food prior to surgery). https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=soseol+

The father in the family usually records the videos and adds music. The Jeju Island trip had some amazing drone overhead video shots. Do have a look. Their white indoor dog is such a card.
