    SDM yesterday

Went in to get a bag of rice for hubby (who is not feeling well btw)... low & behold the clearance table had several Life Brand cough syrups and Life brand Cough & Cold tablets. Syrup was $0.99 and tablets were $1.99.
Needless to say, I bought 5 of each... hey, it takes a lot to clear up a "man cold"!

    Janes Frozen Chicken (700g; 2): $15.96(In-store Sale) - PM(FB; $6.62 OFF) = $9.34

Nonetheless, he was still happy paying $20.xx in store for that food...
Great deals, @johnb56789 ! It looks like the digital points received are based on the original price of the fresh meat rather than on the PM'd price. Is that how it works?

Well... It sorta works that way. With all meat under PC Plus before the merger, you would always earn before PM. But ever since PC Optimum started, it works with chicken and pork more so, but beef doesn't seem to calculate correctly. I've always put in an inquiry for the points on the price match difference and gotten it. So I'm not exactly sure if it is suppose to work that way, but they have never said no when I put in an inquiry like that

    Also went shopping yesterday and today with/for my friend in Whitby. We managed some pretty decent savings considering she technically didn't have any grocery budget for this week (had to pull from next week)... Spent about $122 and that shuld do her two weeks or so... Retail was probably closer to about $400... Some of the "star" deals;

    Sirloin Tip Roasts (2): ~$50.00 - PM(Loblaws; ~$25 off) + 9,600Pts = ~$15
    Astro Kefir (10): $39.80 - FPCs(10; $39.80) + 20,000Pts(4,000Pts/2) = -$20.00
    Bear Naked Granola (5): $29.95 - FPCs(5; $29.95) + 50AM(Sobeys My Offer) = ~-$7.14
    Ace Buns (Singles; 13): $8.85 - $8.64(3 @ $1 Full Value, 10 @ Red. Value) = $0.21
    Simply Lemonade/Gold Peak Teas (8): $28.64 - PM(FC; $12.68 OFF) + 20,000Pts(Wed. Flash Sale) = -$4.04

Went to Walmart last night with DD to pick up her online order of 10 x Our Finest Premium Belgian Biscuit Collection for $2.49 each.
These sells for $9.98 in the current flyer.
Her other loose groceries were placed in a free Walmart reusable bag.
Inside was a free bag of tortilla bread.
And she used a $10 evoucher on her $50 order.

I asked about my free GC at customer service. Of course, they knew nothing of what I was talking about. The people that I dealt with has gone home. So the guy called the manager. They asked me if that other guy said how much the GC should be and I said no. So the CS guy and manager had a conversation (in French) and said ask her if $5 was OK and then talked some more and decided on $10.

So we went back in after DD's groceries were loaded in the car. We priced matched Provigo and got
2 x Breyers Creamery Style ice cream for $3.99, used $1 coupons
1 x Magnum ice cream bar for $3.99, used $2 coupon
    OOP $8.57
Cashier scanned the $10 GC and gave me $1.45 change. I made extra 2 cents on this order, LOL.

Brag for my son, he got possession of a house on May 15th. We spent 2 months doing Reno’s in the basement suite; levelling floor, new flooring, painting, replaced bathroom, bought kijiji kitchen cupboards, flooring, paint and appliances. Husband is retired so he did majority of work while the rest of us had full time jobs but we all worked 7 weeks straight on this project (14-16 hr days)
End story: Mortgage $1550 but offset by basement suite rental of $1300. Hoot hoot

What do you get when you combine a sale price with a points offer? . . . FREE yogurt!!!

RCSS has an in-store offer of 4,000 PCO points when you purchase 2 Astro Original Kefir 500g tubs (or 8 x 100g packages)

Metro has Astro Original Kefir 500g tubs on sale for $1.99 this week. (It's on the first page of the flyer. I also checked online to make sure the Kefir was included in the sale.)

    At RCSS, PM Metro for 2 x $1.99 = $3.98

    Earn 4,000 PCO points = $4.00 value

    I love PC Optimum!

My best deal was Lots of Free Astro Kefir yogurt. Which I did because our Local Food Bank truck was there asking for donation. Every thing that’s in this post went to the Food Bank today
RCSS has A deL for 4000 points for every 2 of the Astro Kefir Yogurt
Did not clear the freezer there is lots more for anyone who wants to purchase these at the RCSS I shop at
Traded for 6 FPC which made me make 12000 in Points for me
Then I PM with Highland Farms for $1.99 mentioned to the cashier that I am doing this for the Food Bank since the truck was out front and she was like grab as many as you like and we will do it 6 in each transaction we did it 4 times . I earned 12000 points in each transaction and paid with $10.00 in Points.
This deal didn’t cost me anything out of pocket because I got back my money in Points and more

Also had 8 Barilla Pasta coupons so I PM with Loblaws for $1.00 - 0.75=$0.25 each cost me $2.00 OOP
Also got to used 10 Uncle Ben’s Bistro FPC I was able to include 1 in each of my transaction in order to used 1 at a time since it’s 1 per customer

Was Happy that I could get the 30 Yogurt to donate for Free. The Lady that took the bags from my DH was like we don’t Usually get these kind of items and she was very thankful for all the stuff.since I have to fridge space to keep it until Monday
