@SassyAshley If you are a regular at Rexall, there's a weekend promo of a $50 Rexall gc if you spend $250 on selected gift cards (which includes Spotify, but not Netflix, The Keg & Moxie & HBC) for Friday Nov 29-SUn Dec 1 only.
There's a Netflix promo at Shell (Thanks to @baggypants for posting the deal in the gift card thread): https://forum.smartcanucks.ca/425191...4/#post7018700
My community paper bundle landed today. Was surprised to discover that Best Buy sells Lego sets (some will be up to 30% off). Starting tonight at 9pm, BB's online Black Friday sale starts. Also Toys R Us will have selected Lego sets 40-50% off (starting Friday) but I think you probably were looking at a recent Lego release, thus the high $ for the set.Last edited by Ciel; Thu, Nov 28th, 2019 at 11:15 AM.

Last night, I made the stuffed pepper soup and releasing that I did not have two cans of tomato sauce, used one can of tomato paste and 1 cup of Heinz ketchup. The ketchup aroma was noticeable during the cooking but warm smell nonetheless. I add two minced cloves of garlic to the diced onions as the ground beef had been in the fridge since Sunday and I was not going to toss it out. And again, I forgot that I could not put all the liquids into a certain red cooking pot so I had to transfer everything to the slightly bigger Sears stainless steel pot.
Then while the soup was cooking, I made a pear compote out of 4 Bosc pears that were turning-the good peeled bits with lemon juice cube, 1tsp of vanilla extract and 1 cup of water helped to clear up the kitchen air while cooking. I had the upper window open a smidge despite the wind to keep the steam down in the house.
I spent 20 minutes this morning looking at the flyers in the paper bundle:
Babies R Us (Nov. 28-Dec.4) has Baby Brezza Food maker on 50% off for $59 and change. Wish I knew that sale was coming as I still want one.
I did not see Sobro furniture (the tables with cooling drawers/fridge for drinks) on sale in either the Best Buy or Leons flyers. Sobro coffee table/fridge was in the Hello Yellow (Leons) supplement and I have not seen a true picture showing where the item's power cord is situated to power the lights, speaker and fridge. Assume that the cord has been airbrushed out in the flyers.
Sobey's Festive Gift Tags offer with Coke products applies to the purchase of two 500ml Coke products. This week, one of my personal offers at Sobeys is 4 bonus AM if I buy two 500ml Coke products. There's the $19.99 Proctor-Silex slow cooker deal on the front flap of the current flyer.
Lowes-you can earn 50 bonus AM (Nov.28-Dec.2?) if you buy a 3.78L Sico Evolution or Sico Go Prime pail of paint.
Canadian Tire-the Friday start flyer, not the Red Thursday one: some deals on baking pans, including a square baking pan.
Metro-Nov. 28-Dec 1: Buy a $50 App store & iTunes cards and get a bonus $10 Metro gift card.
Buy $10 in Quickticket (Lotto Max or Lotto 6/49 at participating Ontario locations (excluding Thunder Bay) and get 10 bonus Air Miles. For in-store purchases only.
M&M Food Market-Tasting Open House starts Thursday and goes until Sunday, from 11am to 6pm!2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

McDonalds Monopoly game pieces have to be entered or redeemed for prizes by Dec. 3! If you have any in glove compartments, pockets, bags or drawers, you can enter up to 10 property codes per day online. Food prizes can be redeemed during the restaurant hours that those items are served.
Since I entered 6 codes last night to the 4 I already had entered, I got the 40% off Kobo.com reward by e-mail. Not sure how I'll be able to use it as my debit card is not open to shopping.2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

Yesterday I went to Coquitlam centre. At Spencer’s I picked tampon flasks that me and Tracy saw online, a pin that says “I wish you fluent in shut the F up” and a marijuana lanyard for Christmas present for someone else. My mom bought herself a pair of size 11 at atmosphere. We went to the Christmas themed store I saw lots of things out of my budget. Then I tripped on the escalator going down I thought as I did that it was really going to hurt. We went Carlton cards everything was 50% and my mom bought the tardis from doctor who at first she didn’t want to at first because it was a lot of money I saw a sign that said it was 50%. Which she rather pay for then what is really the price point it is. I only have my uncle Jay’s and my sister and boyfriends presents and a present for Mackenzie my sisters boyfriend’s daughter. I didn’t buy anyone else presents I don’t really honestly want to do Christmas. I asked my mom yesterday why I never see my dads side relatives for any holidays she said because she doesn’t like them I called her a dumb cow in front of a crowd of people in the mall. She said I embarrassed her and I don’t get presents from santa I said give it up I am 35 years old I believed only when before someone told me dad that he only gave me presents when I was nice for a whole day to someone not the whole year. She always says “don’t believe don’t receive” which turns kids into gremlins.
We went to OPA for lunch. And got mini two pieces of baklava. Mine was chocolate it was so delicious.
I think I am going to have to order things off amazon so people cannot return nothing.
I am using my back flow burner at Tracy’s house this is what it looks

Good Afternoon Everyone,
Woke up feeling like a head cold is coming on, my sinuses feel like they could jump out of my face at any moment. So I worked from home today.
Last night we did do some shopping but did not go to all of the stores I had planned. The store I really wanted to go to was Bulk Barn which we made it to, I got more of my Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate (this is my little treat) as well as Oats, the mice ate all the ones we had in the basement, as well I grabbed Chia Seeds, Crystallized Ginger and Chili Powder. We broke our order into 2 transactions one was $21 less $5 coupon and the second was $20.21 less the $5 coupon. All and all we spent just over $15 for $30 work of stuff.
Then to Zehrs, they did not have any butter got I got 8 x Beef Broth $1.99 + 200 pts/$ and 1 x Potatoes $1.99 + 200 pts/$ so in total I spent just over $17 and got 3600 pts.
We did not make it to No Frills so no gift cards, oh well.
I will look at next week's flyers and see what we need.
Mom whip switch niece's blanket last night well I crocheted the rest of the pieces needed. The horn and ears look kind of small so I did not cut the yarn and may alter the pattern to make them bigger. Also I did not like the boarder they put on the blanket , it doesn't really attach well to securely to the blanket and I could see little fingers pulling it off so I changed it to a ruffle boarder. I am hoping to have this blanket done by the end of the weekend.
I have to admit I have been feeling better lately mentally but then today was a rough day. Mom is all over the place and she thought things were looking up but today she is back to life sucks and taking me down with her. I had to walk away earlier as I was trying to talk to her and she keep snapping at me. I am trying to be supportive but it is hard when all you hear is "you don't get it," "you don't understand," and so on. She is working tonight which might be a good thing, although I am not sure if it is just the events of today or what but I have a horrible pit in my stomach and do not know why.
Alright well, I am going to do some work on niece's blanket and hope to take my mind off everything else. Hope everyone has a wonderful night2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,
follow along as tackle day to day life and whatever else 2021 throws at me:

Last night I was meeting my sister at 0my brother-in-law's Christmas party. I didn't wanna go till 8pm and wanted something to eat before and since the casino was 5 minutes away decide to go there for a free sandwich. Played for a bit and walked out with an extra $160. Some fun money for the weekend
