I've cooked it all up on the BBQ just now ( charcoal again )
This time I made a double skewer of tiger shrimp brushed with butter and dusted with garlic powder and parsley.
Ribs galore! pressure cooked them soft first, finished them on the BBQ, baked spuds, all beef dogs and a medley of boiled green veg ( asparagus, broccoli and green beans )
When the gang wake up/and/or/finish work...all different schedules here....they'll eat!

An oversized pot of clear soup. Chicken broth base, thin strips of pork loin sauteed and tossed in the broth with green onions, carrots, celery, water chestnuts , baby bok ckoy and brown rice vermicelli noodles.

Went early strawberry picking with some of my grandkids and then treated outselves to hot dogs and greasy fries! Not many strawberries left after we ate that for dessert. I think i will go again on Thursday.

Went strawberry picking again with my other 2 grandkids today and we stopped in to Subway for lunch. Had the chicken teryaki sub on honey and oat bread with black olives, cucumber and tomato slices, lettuce and the sweet sauce. Granddaughter had the same minus the tomatos. And grandson had the BLT on honey and oat bread with everything but the black olives. Nice morning.

OPk, today is Fathers Day. And so we are having the gang over, minus the grandkids because they are at their respective other parent this weekend. Anyway.
We are making BBQ pork chops which have been marinating overnight in Diana Original Sauce, potatoes and carrots on the BBQ (tossed with salt, pepper, garlic powder and olive oil), carrot salad, vegetable brochettes (zucchini rounds, mushrooms, red and yellow pepper squares and onions marinating in Kraft Zesty Italian dressing) and garlic bread on the BBQ. Also making a nice tossed salad (curly lettuce, sliced cherry tomatoes, sliced cucumbers, green onions and some red cabbage thrown in for crunch)!
For dessert i have a Queen Elizabeth Cake and a Carrot cake which is bought at IGA. Too hot to bake anything.

did up a small batch of charcoal briquettes for burgers and dogs, then since the coals were white hot, I stuck in foil wrapped russets and a whole butternut squash to maybe have later with dinner. I forgot all about those foil wrapped items and DH woke me up from my nap asking " hey, you want me to bring those things in now? " ha ha
They had been out there for 3+ hours. So soft and yummy!
