^^ ha ha yeah @Natalka I see people who eat a high calorie fast food burger combo with a diet Coke all the time.
We all have our days.
Today I chose to use my Phase 2 option and make a treat.
I filled 4 large white firm mushroom caps with a mixture of 1/2 can Crab meat, 15 grams of warmed ( to soften ) Philly Cream Cheese, lemon juice, pepper, onion powder, and fresh chopped dill and chives.
Under the broiler for a fair bit of time until that filling warmed through and got lightly brown crusted on top.
Had my homemade roasted red pepper soup and the leftover bit of egg white omelette with the mushroom caps.

Today I stopped at a corner store to try and buy 2 beef empanadas warmed up for a light lunch as I strolled to the grocery store-I guess my Spanish is pretty pathetic, so unbeknownst to me I ended up with 2 ham and cheese empanadas when I bit into them-which were actually very nice but not what I had planned. So of course then I had to bring 4 beef empanadas home-1 each for my sister and BIL for a little snack as they are going to an expat dinner in Buenos Aries tonight starting at 8-they invited me too, but being used to a Canadian schedule I prefer to eat dinner earlier than these South Americans. So I think for dinner tonight I will have 2 beef empanadas( they are not very big) and a fruit salad. Each empanada only costs about 75 cents each which is great for cheap and yummy food. The second time i made sure I got the right ones by saying carne( Spanish), beef and I even moo'd like a cow just to be sure-I am quite sure the people in the store were thinking there was something seriously wrong with me-lol-but I did get the right ones this time!! Oh the joys of travel. Maybe next time I should bring a smart phone with a translator on it.

Today our bridge club is hosting a Christmas lunch, turkey and all the fixings, including wine. Afterwards we play bridge. Then I rush home and change to bartend at the Andrew Allan concert.
