Zehrs (along with Loblaws and Provigo) have a deal this week where you receive 20,000 PCO points for every $50.00 spent on general merchandise. If you plan it right, it's a 40% discount on general merchandise and it's even better if you can combine the deal with digital/personal offers.

This is what I did yesterday:

4 x Rubbermaid LunchBlox Leakproof Lunch Container set, large @ $22.99 each = $91.96
5 x Rubbermaid LunchBlox Leakproof Lunch Container set, small @ $17.99 each = $89.95
1 x Rubbermaid 47.3 litre Cooler, clearance priced @ $22.94

for a total of $91.96 + $89.95 + $22.94 = $204.85

earned in points:
in-store 80,000 = $80.00 value
digital kitchen prep and dinnerware 36,000 = $36.00
digital Rubbermaid food containers 36,000 = $36.00

for a total points value of $80.00 + $36.00 + $36.00 = $152.00

$204.85 - $152.00 = $52.85 (plus tax) for everything! That's a total savings of 74%!!!

One more deal I got at Zehrs yesterday:

3 x packages Maple Leaf Natural Top Dogs wieners @ $1.77 each = $$5.31

2 x packages Maple Leaf 50/50 Burgers @ $7.00 each = $14.00

There was a coupon right in front of the product for "buy 3 Maple Leaf Natural Top Dog wieners, get 2 Maple Leaf 50/50 Burgers FREE"

The wieners were already a great deal by themselves but to get 2 packages of 50/50 burgers made it that much better!

Great deals today, extra lean ground beef value pack .99 cents a lb, that’s right .99 cents a lb or 2.18kg!! I bought every package they had and I didn’t dare ask for more!! Even the cashier was like what, “is this right”!! Best before Aug.04. Fructose shampoo and conditioner $1.99 plus 1,000 pts. SDM secret deodorant $2.99 didn’t scan right one free and one for $2.99. They had all their maybelline tattoo studio gel pencils from $12.99 to $1.00, and eyeliner Hyper easy $1.00, L’Oréal Collection exclusive lipstick, Juliane, Jlo and Eva the nude colours from $14.99 for $1.99, I know I got more deals but can’t think right now! I’m not a big ground meat person but for that price I sealed them all in my food saver and they are ready when I need them. I guess we’ll be having hamburgers on the BBQ today hahaha! Two pretty cray deals at our stores this week... Zehrs, Loblaws, and YIG will have these two Health and Beauty specials.. Garnier Fructis Hair Care/Styling for $1.99 + 1,000Pts/1 In-store Offer! AND Olay Body Wash (364ml), Ivory Body Wash (621ml), or Ivory Soap Bars (10pk) for $1.99...

But the latter gets better! On RCSS' website, for all three items, it shows 1,000Pts/1 Offer (Online normally mirrors in store even if the tags don't show the points...) So... It could be $1.99 + 1,000Pts/1 AS WELL!!!!


UPDATE: Check you PCO Card!!! Some of my cards that I manage (3 of 6) got a new offer... 3,000Pts/$15 on Health and Beauty products (RCSS Exclusive).... So for me, the Olay and Ivory could go as low as $0.65 EACH (AFTER TAX) with all these points!!!

Thanks for pointing out the Fructis offer! I didn't notice it in the flyer so I would have missed the chance to stock up on much needed shampoo.

3 containers of Becel Margarine (680g) 3 for $4.00

Zehrs and Provigo have the same promo in their flyers. They've had this promo several times this year. It's already a good deal and it's even better if you can combine any digital/personal points offers for even more savings.

P.S. If you have several Zehrs or Loblaws stores in your area, you may want to choose the one that has the greatest selection of general merchandise. Don't forget to check out the electronics area, too, since that's included in the offer. I picked up ink cartridges for my printer several months ago when they had the same 20,000 pts/$50.00 offer.
It also helps to go online to check out what's in stock in your particular store. Just go to the online site and select the location(s) you want to shop at.

Friday bought 12 High Liner fish bites at Superstore..6.88 ..1500 instore offer and used 3 dollar coupon. Also had an offer for 1000 points for every 10 dollars on High Liner and 1000 points for every 5 dollars on fish bites. Cost me 82 cents for all 12.

Happy couponer. Tomorrow will go for the ivory body wash, ivory soap bars and Olay body wash deal.
