I find mine mostly at Metro, Loblaws and Shoppers Drug Mart. IGA has some at times too. You could also try other drug stores.

Sobey's hands down. I only started collecting coupons in the last 3 months or so.. and over half of mine came from my local sobey's. I think last time I was there I found 10 different ones.

Definitely not in Walmart or Superstore. I found more in Safeway and Sobeys.

So do you just go in and grab the coupons and leave? or do you buy something. I feel strange getting coupons without buying, and I hate the prices at metro and sobeys. It almost feels like im stealing. I see the most coupons at metro. Never at no frill, walmart, or zellers.

That's a good question - I never really thought of that.

Never. I feel the same as you.. that I should buy something. There is a type of breakfast sausage that I regularly use that I can only find at Sobey's so I go in for that and a few other things .. usually whatever the "Big Deal" is that week if we use it.
And when I take the coupons I will admit to taking three or more.. but only if I know I will use it. I love saving money.. but I know there are famalies that probably need it even more than I do.. so I make sure not to take too many. It just wouldn't sit right with me to do it another way.

Admittedly this is only my 2nd week of couponing more diligently.. and being on SC so seeing all the deals so..
I have only done it twice - and may continue..
On Wednesdays I drop my 10 month old at my friends - my day to myself - and the metro by her house has a tim hortons inside it so I stop to get a coffee - I get a cart and put my purse open on the top of the cart, drink my coffee and I slowly make my way through the store - and by doing this I have actually found some great deals as well.. So although I did not intend on buying anything - the first week the Frozen fruit sensations were on sale for 1.00 each regularily 2.00 each and there were coupons for 50.00 off so I bought 6 regularily woudl have cost 12.00 cost me 3.00 - and took 6 more coupons.. and a few more things I ended up buying then with the coupons and the sales - but yes - I picked up coupons for many many items I did not buy there.. They had an abundance of coupons - And it was 8:30 am so it wasn't busy - often i was the only person in an aisle so I didn't feel guilty as I did end up buying something - and this wednesday I wanted more Chunky soup coupons - they had buy 2 save $1.00 coupons there so I went not sure if I was going to buy anything and ended up getting some febreeze with coupons and some Ben & Jerry Ice cream on sale and milk - they had coupons for 1.00 off milk so I bought one and took 10 coupons - there were 4 holders full so I would say about 200 coupons so I did not feel guilty taking 10 of those ones as I buy a milk a week..

I didn't feel like this was wrong as I spent about $10.00 minimum each time I went.

The only place that always has coupons here is the Co-op. Never at No Frills, and very, very rarely at Walmart...and I just don't shop at IGA.

I think the best time is to go on a saturday or sunday to metro or loblaws/superstore. They have tons of demos with LOTS of coupons. Sometimes i don't even shop, i just go coupons shopping. I feel like i thief...lol. in between every aisle, grabbing coupons and placing them in my purse.
