How often do you shop at SDM? There may well be more to it in terms of how the algorithm works, but at a basic level, if you shop there fairly regularly, you're more likely to get these offers as well as SDM personal offers in general than if you only do so occasionally.

I wasn't even sure if they were issuing rain checks. In the beginning of the pandemic, Maxi would not issue rain checks until end of pandemic so I gave it a shot. I was really surprised I got one.

It didn't make sense to me that they would accept cash and coupons but not give rain checks.

Depends on the co51 offer. Only some offers specifically state no coupons.

Haven't had time to post, but I visited home on the weekend and helped my parents with some shopping... Most of it was Meh deals, but their Zehrs (Bradford) was a gold mine for us!

    General Mills Cinnamon Toast Crunch (591g): $4.99 - SCOP($1.94 Tagged, $4.99 Scanned) = $0.00
    Neilson Choco Milk (1L; 2): $2.00 (SALE)
    Quaker Caramel Apple Oatmeal (8pk; 3): $3.00 (CLEAROUT?) - 10%($0.30) = $2.70
    Iogo Yogurt (16pk; Shortdated): $7.99 - CLEAROUT($7.00 OFF) - 50%(Quick Date Sale) - $0.50 Coupon - 10%($0.05) = -$0.05
    PC Crackers (4): $7.16 - PCO Member Price($3.16 OFF) - 10%($0.40) = $3.60/4

And a few other odds and ends... Cashier made some errors in getting the cereal sorted out (She ended up with 2 manufacturer coupons on the bill for about $3.50), went to customer service to pay back that error and they waived it. So saved an extra few bucks while being honest with them...

RCSS (Simcoe, ON) had a wall of clearance priced toys yesterday. I bought multiples of:

    Play Doh packages of 2 x 3 oz. tubs @ $ .44

Hasbro Tiny Pong game @ $3.44 (reg. 24.98)

    Lego Monster Truck @ $4.44 (reg. $14.48)

    Lego Monster Truck @ $6.44 (reg. $24.48)

    Lego Ninjago Spinjitzu @ $3.44 (reg. $13.98)

Lego Classic Suitcase Building Kit @ $9.44 (reg. $24.98)

Lego Duplo Town Fire Truck @ $8.44 (reg. $24.98)

Lego City Sky Police Parachute Arrest @ $13.44 (reg. $39.98)

    LeapFrog LeapBuilders 81-piece Jumbo Blox @ $9.44 (reg. $22.98)

and, to make these deals even better, I had a PC Optimum offer of 1,000 points for every $5.00 spent! That's an additional 20% savings! I'm always on the look-out for good deals on Lego and Play Doh so I was super happy to see these items just as they were being marked down in the store!

Paid $1.10 for a whole roasted chicken at Walmart. It was marked down to $5.58 (from $7.99), but when scanned, it processed as reduced bagel for $1.10, even though it was the roasted chicken bar code.

I had never realized Walmart marked down their roasted chicken. According to the stickers, it was baked & placed on the heating pad at 8:20am and I purchased at 2:30pm, same day. Expire date is 3 days later.

We will now check Walmart's ready made food section for discounted foods, along with the various clearance sections (cooked meat, raw meat, fruits & veggies, etc).
