He Should Have Taken A Drop - Ouch!

The look on the paramedics' faces says it all. This accident happened on a
golf course in the upper Scottsdale area.

Trying to hit the shot, the golfer fell backwards into the cactus. It took
the paramedics over 3 hours to pull the cactus out of his clothes and body
before he could go in the ambulance to the hospital.

He should have taken a "drop."

been busy at work but i want to put out a hockey related story since J. Iginla got traded last night.

My company had set up a store for a film fest party and that year Team Canada was playing i believe Team Finland for the gold medal in Toronto. I had heard that some of the players were coming up to the party after having won the gold medal (hoping to meet Mario Lemieux/Joe Sakic). While waiting at the security entrance i started to notice hundreds of people wearing Team Canada jerseys so a lot of people were aware of the fact that some of the team were coming to the party. The first player i saw was Mika Kiprusoff --- unfortunately when people asked him for his autograph he refused to sign anything but had someone who was with him hand out what looked like a pre-autographed photo (bear in mind he was an NHL rookie). The second player was Chris Pronger (St. Louis) and he didn't stop to sign anything --- third was Jose Theodore (Montreal) and he refused to stop too. I then noticed J. Iginla (Calgary) walk right by us thru the security gate i was at and i mentioned to the drunk Tm Cd guys i was standing with that Iginla had just walked by us. The drunk guys proceeded to yell at Iginla --- he was about a block away but he turned around and came back and signed the Tm Cd jerseys the drunk guys were wearing and anything else that anyone who was standing with us wanted signed.

This is why J. Iginla is a class guy and i'm glad he has a chance to win the stanley cup!!
