I did not know that Suzanne Somers' family had held a memorial for her in November. I came across it on Youtube yesterday when searching for her videos. Some language is not meant for young ears but the memories shared were worth the time spent watching.

It has been snowing lightly all afternoon, hoping we do not get much more, I can admit ti, I am done with the snow and yes, I know it is only January.
I was in the office this morning training a new staff member and came to work from home this afternoon to get caught up on a few things.
I was trying to figure out something to make for dinner and I do not know why but I just wanted something simple which led to a craving for Nachos, so that is what we are having. Keeping it simple tonight.
I should have done some cleaning when I finished work tonight but I did not. I kind of feel like I am sabotaging myself right now, I know it needs to get done, but I just don't get it done which is bad. Tomorrow I need to force myself to do at least 15 minutes of sorting.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

Four of us enjoyed a delightful meal at Tabule's restaurant in Bayview Village yesterday afternoon. This was to celebrate an early b'day for 2 of the guests ( I was one! ha ha ) .
Every single thing I ordered was beyond delicious. The guests attending were probably shocked at how I ordered soup, and appy and TWO full entrees, but I had my reasons.
Since this was the first visit there for me I really wanted to taste things I had never tried before. ( hello stuffed grape leaves!! Mmmm ).
I brought home enough to have at least 3 more mid sized meals, so their portions were quite generous. They comped us 2 delicious desserts which was enough for 4 of us to share
( again I had never tried these before ) and my after dinner Latte was served in an oversized mug, creamy and delicious!
I need to revisit this place on my next birthday!!
P.S.
The frugal part of this post. This restaurant participates in the Summerlicious event which is the best way to get most of their fare at a discounted rate!

Good Morning Everyone,
Up early and trying to knock out this work stuff but woke up so tired today it is a bit of a struggle to focus but I would prefer to get up early and get it done vs having to work late.
Need to figure out dinner for tonight, thinking maybe dumplings but we will see how I feel a little later. We also still have some roast chicken I need to use up, hmmm wonder what I can make????
I stood in the Dining Room last night staring at all of the stuff, it did not bring me inspiration at all. But I did see little things I can knock out so hoping once I get going this will start to flow for me. But in the really file, I found 2 more boxes of jars which I am going to be honest at this point I think they are just going down the basement. If we were using them it would be one thing but I don't even know how long these have been in these boxes so out of the box they will come and into a bin to go into storage.
I am sorry if you are sick of hearing about the jars but honestly, I feel like they are taking over and multiplying, every time I think I have found them all, I find more. Did I mention under my basement stairs is already FULL of jars, yes they are taking over LOL.
Happy Tuesday Everyone.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

Been busy here this morning and into the early afternoon.
Couple of leads of laundry done, cleaned bathroom top to bottom, cleaned out fridge and freezer ( very little waste), dealt with the food compost and recycling, scrubbed and polished our food waste container (sliced a deep cut in my finger from the metal
) and have a huge pit of split pea and lentil soup simmering away for us and my parents.
Pulled out the foodsaver to vac seal my packs of naan for the freezer to prevent freezer burn and make them compact a bit more.
I took full inventory of my fridge and pantry and highlighted things to be used up first and have started a menu for this week. Up to Saturday so far without purchasing anything extra
. Also getting prepped for work tomorrow and onwards
Question. Curious about everyone’s opinions on the upcoming PC Points Day. I don’t recall taking part in it and that’s possible because it was a dud but curious as to others experiences.

@harbie in regards PC points days . I have taken part before but it all depends on what you are buying. Once my personal offer and coupons line up with what the are offering I am game. I usually by cereal for the food bank and what ever else’s is little out of pocket .
Not sure if I will be taken tart this week . Since I have been getting lousy offers and points are slash in half.

@harbie, I find PC days to be really hit and miss but even then the use of the word hit would be generous. I know there have been a few offers I have taken part in but for the most part, I do not find they line up for us. They are either for products, we do not buy or the points value is not worth it.
But I feel anything like this is always hit or miss for the shopper. For example, the executive coupons for Costco came out earlier this month and I say so many people complaining about them where is for us, I have never used so many of the executive coupons.
I do also find it funny when people get upset when these promotions promote the store's brands, that was the biggest thing I saw with the Costco Coupons why are they for Kirkland products, I do not buy Kirkland products. Or on PC Point days why are they for No Name or PC Branded items, we want the name brands. But what do you expect the store is trying to promote their own products as they probably have a larger margin on these products and want to try them and use them.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,
