    Some deals at RCSS:
20lbs of no name russets for $5.94. I shared with my mom and older sister.
Contigo Jackson Chill 20oz stainless steel water bottle $8.44. It had a scratch on the lid and the color is "dragon fruit" - a color that I would not pick but it was on clearance and has the features that I want.
pm'ed SOF for lunchmate $2 for my kids - for days when I'm too tired to pack their lunches.

We also got the Gold Summer Pass at Chuck E Cheese (you can find the details on their website). We'll be using the passes later in the States too.

Took advantage of Value Village emailed coupon 50% off women's short and sleeveless tops, and 30% all other women clothing. Got myself some tops and capris for this summer.

When the May Hit of the Month New Treasure 2kg rice was on sale for $3.50, I didn't buy any. Last week when DD was at work downtown, she saw that they were discounting them to 2/$5 or $2.99 each so she told me to look out for sales.

We went shopping yesterday and one store had them for $2 near the self checkouts. It was in one of those tall square cages with no price sign. We had to self scan for the price. We bought one, went home and cooked it for lunch, which never happens, lol. Turns out perfectly.

We went back out and tried different stores to see if they also had them for sale. Couldn't find any at a few stores and one store sold them for $4.50 near the cash!

We went back to the original store and bought all of them. All 25 of them. That's $50 right there. No one bothered us, store was practically empty and no one came to us to see what the big deal is. Because we always encounter FOMO people (Fear Of Missing Out).

We need $15 to get to $65 so I can redeem $65 for 50K.

Bought 2 x Life Brand panty liners (135) on sale for $5.99 and get 2000pts WUB2.

Add 2 boxes of Hit of the Month Cheerios for $2 each and subtotal is $65.98

Redeemed 50K and paid .98 OOP and no tax and got 2000pts.

DD wanted lots of Vim which is on sale for 2/$5. Lots of store had empty shelves, most of them located at the bottom of the shelves. This store had them at the top shelf. They were all the way in the back that short people cannot reach like us, lol. We saw a tall shopper and we asked him if he could get them for us. She got 12 of them. She also wanted to redeem 50K for $65.

Got Hit of the Month NN oil $7, Titan aluminum .95, and Cheerios $2. 2 x L'Oreal Feria hair dye for $2 each, 4 x Ritter Sport 2/$8 BOGO coupon.

She had a personalized offer of free cereal WUS $40 so when we checked out, the system triggered the Cheerios as the free cereal offer. The cashier was trying to help us figure out how to override this. If DD was going to get a free box of cereal, get the more expensive and one that she likes. So she got Kellogg's corn flakes for $7.99 for free.

    Total with tax was $75.04

Redeemed 50K for $65, $10.04 left to pay. Redeem Ritter Sport BOGO coupon, less $4.60 each.

OOP .84 and a free box of cereal.

Bit of background, for the longest time, Quebec haven't had a great sale on steak. If they do, it's labeled as "ungraded" or not even graded like AA and very chewy. I'm sure most of you seen the news about "ungraded" meat. We do a lot of stir fry with beef so we need to tenderize it first.

This week at Metro, they have Platinum Angus AAA T-Bone Steak for 9.88lb. We bought one pack to try and they are very tender. My freezer is filled. Gave some away to family member yesterday so now we have enough freezer space to buy more, lol.

Saw this as part of an email from Air Miles:

We encourage you to continue earning and redeeming Miles at Metro grocery stores across Ontario until July 21. After that, you will no longer be able to scan/enter your collector card at stores or online to earn and redeem Miles at Metro.

I started trying to use up some of our miles at Metro about 6 weeks ago, and will continue to do so when I see things we use at decent prices. However, I'd be surprised if I don't have at least a few hundred left. So, it looks we will be getting gas at Shell for the next while after that.

Actually, I am in Quebec, and I am able to earn more miles now by doing surveys and submitting my receipts. I also redeem them for gift cards through the app. Amazon, Doordash, A&W, Old Navy, restaurants, etc. I think it is a much better program now.
