Good Morning everyone,
Not sure the last time I posted, might have been Monday????

Mom is on the mend, smells weren't bothering her yesterday which is an improvement.

Monday night well we were sitting here watching TV we heard a horrible noise outside we looked out and one of neighbours had crashed their motorcycle, they said they were okay. What I did not realize until the next day was they hit someone's car. I heard the person talking to another neighbour when I was getting ready and they left. I ran out to our local branch to borrow their colour printer and shredder when I got back the cops were here, not sure of the outcome.

On Tuesday when I ran to the branch I stopped at Sobeys and grabbed 2 bags of onions as they were on sale, also found the most amazing looking limes on sale so I grabbed those as well, they are the size of lemons and just beautiful. Also stopped at the gas station, I was playing with my phone and noticed my tires were a little low, not enough to get a low tire pressure warning but enough to bug me so I went and put air in my tires.

Yesterday I was in branch to help a staff member go live, I am super excited this is a position where I am the backup and I have trained multiple people so I wouldn't be the backup but things did not work out. I think we have found the person, we are still working on it but I have a good feeling. Also got invited to a BBQ next week, all you gotta say is BBQ and I am there.

I looked at the flyers, I see a few things we could pick up but I do not see anything we need so I decided to put off shopping. Our fridge seems pretty full right now and next week I will probably need to go to Costco as I see a few things we need on sale.

I did need a break, today is a day of manuals and policies and procedures so it make my head hurt a little. I finished one manual and then took Mom's car out for a quick drive around town since it hasn't been out in a bit. Originally when I got it fixed I said I would take it when I commute locally but I forgot she has no AC and we did not get that fixed. Since this morning was a cooler morning just went for a little 10 minute drive.

Now it is back to the manuals and at some point I have to clean our kitchen which is a complete disaster right now.

Afternoon off to shoppers i went Seniors day for me .
I got my micellor water ,milk ,cereal ,finish, poise liners 8.79 after seniors -5.00 checkout51=3.79,peek freans on sale plus points -got points on 4 items plus the cosmetic lady gave me 10,000 points for spending over 50.00 as she had a few to give out ,so glad i went to her.

Got gas then home ,just relaxing today .

Good Morning!

I am a little excited to have the house to myself this weekend! The boys are going on a golf weekend! Youngest is the golfer but Dad and big brother like to go out a few times a year too.

Yesterday I cooked chicken for quesidias. Will pop leftovers in the freezer tonight for chicken fried rice next week.

Enjoying my coffee and figuring out my action plan for the day. Work, clean kitchen, put away clean laundry, pull some weeds, clean out vehicle. Just some of the things I want to get done today.

Morning well in suberbia someone was walking around last going in cars ,my neighbour across the street had his wallet stolen from his car (it was unlocked)with money and gift card in it.
Hubby put our car in our garage last night as he washed it and didnt want bird poo on it and locked it we always do .
Most likely is teens that are bored -awfull.

Did one load this morning and hung outside.

Last day on Vancouver Island today and it is not exactly beach weather. Booked the first ferry out tomorrow morning(and the cheapest) and hoping to drive all the way to Calgary. Will see how tired I get and can always overnight if need be. Just having a chill day-the dishwasher is not even full yet as I haven't been cooking too much. Will run that and the laundry today. Hoping I might see some bears on the way home-or maybe even whales from the ferry. It has been a nice trip but of course it will be nice to sleep in my own bed. Hubby flies back in on Sunday and then we have another week off before school starts. We have company next weekend and my niece will be in town with her two little girls-the last one born in April so I haven't met her yet.

Good Afternoon Everyone,
One of my morning meetings was cancelled today so after my first meeting I ran out to grab Mom's prescription from the pharmacy.

I decided well I was out I would run into No Frills to grab mushrooms since there are one of those things, we use them in a lot of recipes and can go through them quickly and I do not want to go store on the weekend. On my way I decided since I was just grabbing Mushrooms I would also grab a bag of rice, we buy the large bag of No Name Long Grain Rice.

Sounds like a nice little trip, right? Then well I was in the store I remembered they had raspberries on sale so grabbed those, then on yeah mini cucumbers are on sale grabbed those, oh yeah don't forget the salad kits grabbed a Kale and Dill Pickle, well I was grabbing the salad kits I saw the Baby Spinach was 50% off but looked good so grabbed that, then grabbed some plain bagels as mom likes those with her soup and finally I got the rice. Yep just 2 things LOL.

Normally I grab the salad kits at Costco but I don't plan to go to Costco this weekend so grabbed them since they were on sale. Mom says these do not give her heartburn like regular salad does so we can have them for lunch or as a side with dinner.

Trying to get all the things done for work but I do not know what it is but I am still feeling so off since the Full Moon earlier this week. I feel like my sleep has not recovered and I keep crashing in the afternoon which is not normal for me.

Now we need to figure out dinner for tonight, Mom says she is over chicken so trying to come with something else, I was thinking Chicken Burgers but I have some Homemade Hamburgers in the freezer so maybe we will have those instead???? Or I could do a sheet pan meal with sausages, hmmm options.

(2) kit kat 1.00 each -100 points =one was free for granddaughters when i see them.
(1) fresh from the bakery multigrain bread 4.00 a treat

Boy sobeys was packed i have never seen it this busy ,also no tear pads for the becel butter or cheeses or scotties must have a new coupon out .So disheartning never getting the new coupons when they just came out tuesday or wednesday this week.

Happy Saturday!!!!!

Not sure what today will bring yet, I was surprised when I woke up it was 6:30, I thought it was much later, nice surprise. There is no lack of things that need to be done. Seriously, why has no one invented a self cleaning house, turn it on go to bed and wake up to a clean house LOL, yeah, a girl can dream.

I am not sure what is up but allergies are next level, yesterday I was sitting here working away on my laptop and I literally had tears rolling down my checks but I wasn't crying. Today no tears but the eyes are watery and annoyed. Both days this is after I took an allergy pill, so I have no idea what is pollinating but my allergies are not happy about it.

Thinking I might go bake something, I have been craving some sort of baked good all week and have resisted stopping and picking something up. So maybe I will make something today. I just cannot decide on what I want to make, I really want a Danish but yeah that isn't happening, need to come up with a plan b.

Guess it is time to scroll pinterest, find something to bake and maybe see if I can find something for dinner. We are in a rut again and I keep trying to pull us out but then we slide backwards again. Maybe I should try to write a meal plan again, come up with some options and ideas.

Let's see where the day takes me.

Happy Saturday -i washed my bedroom curtains (hand washed) and hung to dry cleaned my bedroom window.

Did a load of towels hung to dry.

Popped over to ex sister-in-laws for a coffee with hubby ,just got home .

Supper left over chicken breasts home fries in the air fryer and corn on cob,salad.

Today I had a great lesson

My dead beloved brother who commited suicide 10 years ago have a friend who dont forget him even after 10 years!The friend still visiting his graveward and think about him.They where friends who are from the same small city but how beautiful his that fact .? They met in vacantion when they where in the same city.Greece the Parthenon collisium.And they did a small few days continuing the trip togheter....Sure it is true friendship.! Hope it will last forever.I so want to met friendship like that once a lifetime!For now I am considering myself lucky to have you my virtuals friends on my life!

Good Morning Everyone
Nothing earth shattering happened yesterday.

I tried making Air Fryer Apple Fritters for breakfast yesterday, did not work out, the first one was under cooked, the second and third were better but the dough was just too dense for me. Although I did like the top of the doughnut with the glaze baked on.

Looks like we are going into another heatwave and our Air Conditioner decided to tell us the filter needed to be cleaned. If I wash the filter it has to sit for 24 hours so I just dry washed it and used compressed air to spray it out. Somehow I completely scrapped up the back of one of my hands. Didn't even notice when I did it, it wasn't until we were done and I was washing my hand.

Last night I made Steak Sandwiches, marinated steak with onions and mushrooms on garlic toasted bread with cheddar. I did Savoury Sweet Potatoes in the Air Fryer and made a part of the Kale Salad kit I grabbed on the side.

Tonight is another mystery but Mom made Homemade BBQ Sauce yesterday so I am thinking either Ribs (depending on what time she gets up) with Mac & Cheese from the freezer and Salad or Homemade Chicken Tenders with Oven Fries and Salad.

Thinking the plan for today will be to try to write a meal plan and plan for this week, I have a few busy days that are going to throw my week off a bit. I really need this to be a focus and knock things out kind of week.

Thanks Shwa girl -i always try to get my grandkids a few items on sale for back to school i spent 11.00 on the girls 3 tops and a 3 prs of socks .
Sebastian i got him a longsleeve shirt mindcraft $14.00 boys never seem to be as cheap as the girls deals .

Ashlyn i gave her her pants and nice top for her birthday gift early -well the top is swimming on her so i need to return and try to buy her a medium if not thats okay as i let her keep the larger pants i got for next year-i bought 2 pairs and the medium fit .

Life is too short i always put my grandkids first .lol
