It's a regular plan from maybe 10 years ago. We didn't want to pay for all the bells and whistles and wanted the bare minimum. DH and I are mostly home and don't need to text or phone so we use Fongo for free phone calls. Kids were at school at that time so wanted to text. If I needed to make a phone call when I'm out, I just connect to the store or mall Wifi and use Fongo.

I guess Fido don't like us paying so little so they got rid of our plan to try to force us to pay more. People in the same boat as us on that other forum did some research and complain. We didn't want to lose our balance and that was what was offered, some people got it some didn't but DH persisted and got it for us.

For my account, we allowed Fido to charge us the $10 for the month and then complaint to the CRTC saying Fido broke the agreement and CRTC agreed. Something along those lines. It's a great tip. I had over $400 and DH has like maybe $150 balance. We would've lost all that if not for those discussions.

There is discussion on Reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/FidoMobile/...ember_16_2024/

    Being cheap pays off, lol.

I just picked up 4 items at Flash Food. 2 were poor quality so I requested a refund for the 2. Somehow I paid $6.27 and they gave me $7.13 back. So I made almost $1 and basically got 4 items for free. Go figure.

When I picked up my online clothing order I saw some legging that would be the perfect match to one shirt I bought but they were $49.95 in store, a little steep for leggings.

For fun I looked online when I got home and they were on sale for $14 online so I ordered them online and picked them up in store.

Even though we don't really NEED any of the Butterball frozen turkey " football " shaped roasts, Metro has them on for $14.99!
That's actually a sale price especially for Metro. Oh crap! this is only if you have the APP right? Dang it all. I was actually considering
grabbing 2 and sticking them in the deep freeze to have on hand for 2025....lol. Oh well? If anyone with the APP is interested.

Is it this one at Walmart for $15.97?

How good is it and how many people does it feed?

It's not unpleasant but also not particularly good. And it's not cheap. You're paying for the stuffing, you only get a few portions, and you still need to add sides to make a meal.

My Maxi has Glad cling wrap 30" for $1. Maxi doesn't even sell the 90"

At RCSS, there is 3000pts on the Glad 90"

Price match Giant Tiger $2.97 on 90"

    Free, just pay tax
