I had no plans to go to Canadian Tire this week but decided I hate my broom and wanted a new one, checked out the app and I have a spend 4.99 get 5.00 in points. While I was there I picked up a few stocking stuffers for the kids and spending 50.00 earned me 13.00 in points. I do love the ease of their program.

My brothers ex came for a visit and had gifts for my 3 grandkids .I had bought her a gift and gift card.

We chatted then went to fire house subs ,i was gonna treat her but she treated me ,such yummy subs not cheap but soooo good.

Popped in to metro and joined the moi program takes a few days to register i guess ,excited for a new program .

Went looking for some milk from my 'outdoor freezer'. While the economic savings are evident from using Mother Nature to store my milk, a problem lies in me finding my milk. I had to root around quite some time in the snow bank to find a jug of milk.

Good morning. Going to be a busy busy week.
I am definitely looking forward to the mail resuming.
Today we have plus 8 . And lots of rain. That means... wet.. Very very wet.
I've started working loosely on my goals and plans for the next 3 and 6 months
Jan , Feb and March usually start out pretty frugal... April... well gardening.. lol. This year should be good. The raised beds are in good shape. I will need a bit of soil for the top, but I've been adding compost stuff to them all winter so far. This rain means I can do a bit more on that in the next day.

Good Morning Everyone,
Happy Monday!!!!!!!!

I am exhausted and woke up to a text that our server is down again. I have done what I can do, cannot bring it back up so waiting for my boss.

Yesterday started off well getting the little things done, finally unpacked my Black Friday Shopping which was living in my Dining Room. This is my Rubbermaid Pantry set (cannot wait to use these, so excited, I LOVE these containers and cannot wait to switch them all out) plus the extra lunch set I grabbed at Costco.

We loaded the dishwasher and ran it and I just put some random stuff away and did a load of laundry Mom asked me to do for her (she cannot do our basement stairs anymore).

Then we had Lunch and it all stopped, once we sat down the day was done.

I did get my Chili made for Potluck and remember the Kidney Beans LOL and made a batch of Cornbread in these mini loaf pans we have so everyone can have their own little loaf vs slicing up a whole batch. Mom grated the cheese and now I just need to pack everything up.

We only get a week off this year, we shortened our Shut Down so now we have more vacation time during the year. There is a lot I want to get done during the week but I also want to sleep the whole week LOL.

I am just hoping it is a slower week this week and I can catch up on a few things so going into the Holidays won't be so insane but also guess who hasn't even thought about Christmas Gifts or a Dessert for Christmas. Although I am not sure on what to do for the Dessert as half of us are going Christmas Eve and the other Half are going Christmas Day, I don't know what to do.

Well since we are down I am going to see if I can get the dishwasher emptied well we wait for the server to come back up.

Another busy day at work getting all the bills paid up to date. My Credit card is ready for another round! I think I am expecting one more payment from work from Friday. A good head start to my Cash back amount for December 2026

I have 2 large packages of lean ground beef in the fridge to deal with. Will make a batch of homemade burgers (8) to go with the buns I bought for a meal one night this week (leftovers will be polished off by DS) Will cook up the rest and make some into taco meat and the rest for pasta sauce.
Should pick up a few more packages for the freezer and rotate the stock.

SDM- bought the pistachios and canned mixed nuts there for no tax and PC pts. They are great for the 2 food box gifts I am making.

1 Package of beef dealt with- One freezer bag ready for the freezer with cooked beef for a quick pasta dinner one night.
The rest of the meat cooked and seasoned with taco seasoning and ready for taco making. I also shredded cheese and lettuce so this will be all ready in the fridge.

reduced oikos single 2 for 1.07
cream for coffee 2.15-.50cpn=1.65
balderson cheese 5.95-.50cpn=5.45

(2) kids tylenol 8.98-4.00 cpn=4.98 for my grown kids stockings as they always run out of kids tylenol

Then popped into dollar tree spent 22.00 few more stocking stuffers and a chocolate bar for hubby and waterbridge mint patty for me .lol

Good Evening Everyone,
One potluck down, so much food, so good, oh my. There was his mediterranean dip I could have ate the whole thing OH MY!!!!

Also decided for the other Potluck I am going to do a Pasta Salad. I stopped at No Frills on the way home grabbed Orzo (since it is on sale no need to dive into my stockpile), a Bottle of Greek Dressing (Normally I make my own but I would have to make 2x or 3x the normal amount so for $3 it was worth grabbing the bottle of dressing), a cucumber and some peppers. I was going to grab tomatoes but they only had a couple of packs and they did not look good so we are using peppers instead. Or I could keep the cucumbers and do a Roast Veggies salad instead, hmmmm options.

Not my normal sales only shopping but still the cheapest option I could come up with that will feed a large crowd. I will have extra Cucumber and Peppers for us to use this week.

Still waiting on my one package, kind of worried with Canada Post coming back tomorrow, really hoping they do not ship Canada Post now, then there is no way I am getting my package before Christmas. More than anything I am worried I am going to start getting out of stock messages.

Nothing got done around the house today but there is always tomorrow because I gotta tell you, I know it happens every year but these shorter days are getting to me this year. I just feel like I am not adjusting this year, the sun goes down and I am done.

Time to make Dinner, tonight I am doing Chicken Alfredo Bake with Mushrooms and Broccoli.



Now I just have to figure out Christmas for everyone but don't feel so bad as Sis-in-Law said she is in the same boat. I have an abundance of Frozen Cranberries so maybe I can make some homemade gifts, we will see what I come up with.

I decided to defrost the upright freezer today. Found some stuff that needs to be used up. So I made a beef and mushroom which was great because the mushrooms needed to be used up. Pulled some chicken thighs for butter chicken this week and put the extra meatloaf away that I made Sunday. I do get a little excited with a tidy freezer.

This is a week where detailed plans come into play..
On track for today... 1 craft, finish 1 craft, finish 1 child part 2 of 1 craft. Bake cookies and go for a good walk with the kids...
Clean out the fridge ( eaay) recycling out. , walk after work to get gift wrap.
Supper is a easy chicken and salad.
I need a tea. Lol

Good Morning Everyone,
Not sure what is up but oh my I am super tired today and let me just say this grey day is not helping. Also the allergies are real today, the watery eyes and congestion and I have taken an allergy pill.

The plan for today is:
Work wise:
Send in all my explanations for inventory and where our outages came from so hopefully I can be done with inventory for 2024.
Try to complete the Workflow so I can send it to those who work with it daily before submitting to our IT company

House wise:
The Kitchen, it needs some love, I started to clean it last night well I was making dinner and planned to finish after dinner but we had a late dinner and by the time dinner was done I was ready for bed. Also I need to wash my new pantry containers so they can dry and I can fill them.

Christmas:
I need to figure out presents, at this point I have no want to go to any stores, the older I get the more large crowds make me anxious so I am thinking Homemade is going to be the way to go.
Figure out Dessert for Christmas Eve, I am only making one dessert just need to figure out what I am making.
Figure out Christmas Day dinner since we are apparently having Dinner Christmas Day. I know Mom will say she will take care of it but I also know that can be hit or miss like yesterday she could barely move due to the weather so instead I would prefer to have a plan so we aren't scrambling the day of.

If I get those things done today I will be happy, now let's see if I can make it happen.

UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You have got to be kidding, the order that jumped out to being delivered Dec 31st just got cancelled. Funny how that happened the day after I complained and they put a note on the order. I do not know what the order said but I was told if it did not ship by Thursday to chat with them again which I was not happy about just tell me my order will ship in 3 days but the chat again makes me feel you aren't confident and then today THE WHOLE ORDER IS CANCELLED!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, I am that person, I went through line by line and all items (1o items total) except 2 are still available in the sizes and colours I ordered so why cancel my whole order just remove the 2 items, you have done it before. A few years ago I had an order with 15 items and I only got 4 but this time you cancel the whole order?????????????????????

Now for those who want to visualize, I am on chat again basically saying WHAT THE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and doesn't my boss call and want to discuss the workflow I handed in this morning. So here I am trying to chat and let's be honest I am very pissed off at this point but also trying to explain to my boss the process when we do not have an item in stock and we have to make it. Oh my gosh multi tasking was not my forte in that moment but I wasn't leaving chat.

So in the end they told me to reorder everything (without the two items that are out of stock) and they would price adjust everything and ship it to me for free (um, yeah, even with the 2 items removed I am well above the free shipping level).

Ultimately I feel like this was all done just so they could bump out my ship date without me complaining and because even though they are still offering Order Today to get by Christmas but no my area is an a restriction because I am considered a small town.

Not to mention honestly did the ship date annoy me, yes but I was more worried my items were going to be out of stock and sure enough the one item I really wanted/needed is out of stock. The whole thing that set me off about Dec 31st was we are now going to go through Boxing Day and what is likelihood some of my items will become out of stock and that is exactly what happened. To make it worse on the 12th when they didn't ship I checked and every item was still in stock but now 2 are not.

Finger-Crossed when it finally comes I get all 8 items I ordered.

My order just got shipped to cleo store 13 later ,backed up due to postal strike UPS is backed up.

I will pick up maybe on wednesday after our haircuts or thursday .

Just finished my xmas shopping yessss.I went to a local thrift store that doesnt charge tax to drop off a box.They had claire jewellery items so got Ashlyn a mood necklace $4.00 reg 12.99 reg price.

Stopped at rexalls and got 2 starbucks ground coffee on for 9.99 plus 4,000 in store gotta utilize the points.

Then on to a local fish and chip store and they had $25 gift cards and if you paid cash you got a nice mug wrapped in cellophane with 3 mini xmas chocolate balls with the gift card .Then got hubby an order of fish and chips for a treat .
